Can I Bulk Add a Property of Null Into a Custom Field

Am I able to bulk remove a property from a field. Heres an example use case:

I have an expiration date set for 75 assets. Licensing has been reworked to give us universal rights in perpetuity so we no longer need an expiration for those. Am I able to select all 75 assets and remove the expiration date or do I have to do that 1 by 1?

I did try this but a few years ago. It appeared that the AEM database (behavior) will not allow a bulk change of null. Interesting use case. You might replace the date with Jan 1 2100, that is fairly far in the future to denote imperpetuity for a required date field
