Best approach to bulk update metadata for ~10,000 existing AEM Assets?

We have approximately 10,000 assets that were migrated to AEM Assets as a Cloud Service. We now need to bulk update metadata on these existing assets, including metadata required to make the assets available in Content Hub.

We are evaluating the best approach for performing this update at this scale.

One option we are considering is CSV Metadata Import. However, the Adobe documentation mentions a maximum batch size of 100 assets for metadata import. We would like to understand whether this is only the internal processing batch size or whether there is a recommended/maximum number of asset rows that should be included in a single CSV import.

For this use case, what would be the recommended  approach for updating metadata on ~10,000 existing assets?

Any guidance or experience with similar large-scale metadata updates would be appreciated.
