Adobe Asset Link error in Photoshop 26.0

I have updated to photoshop 26.0 and I have installed the latest version of the Asset Link CEP plugin. However, I am getting an error when I try to open Asset Link.

The "Adobe Asset Link" extension could not be loaded because Photoshop was unable to find the JavaScript plug-in."

I am opening Photoshop with Rosetta, as Asset Link still doesn't appear in the Plug-ins panel, only in the legacy extensions.

Right now the only thing that works in going back to a previous version of Photoshop.

First of all please accept our sincere apologies for the troubles you are having, secondly

  1. Open PS in Rosetta for the AEM plugin to work.
  2. This is a bug in versions 25.12 and 26.0
  3. We are working on a new update to address the issue, unfortunately, I can't share the release date, but this will soon be addressed.
  4. As a workaround, install an older version say, 25.9.1
