Why filter out hit_source NOT IN (5, 7, 8, 9)

am working of creating a table that contains all the information needed about a visit on adobe analytics . this table will be used further for analytics purposes .

I was checking the form and reading in the communities and i saw for many metrics calculation excluding

hit_source NOT IN (5, 7, 8, 9)

is essential 

what's the reason behind this ?

1: Standard image request without timestamp
2: Standard image request with timestamp
3: Live data source upload with timestamps
4: Not used
5: Generic data source upload
6: Full processing data source upload
7: TransactionID data source upload
8: No longer used; Previous versions of Adobe Advertising Cloud data sources

 

 

5, 8 and 9 are summary rows uploaded using Data Sources, and 7 is Transaction ID data uploads (as per https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/adobe-data-feeds-how-use-lake-amazon-athena-analytic-insights-spicer)
9: No longer used; Adobe Social summary metrics
10: Audience Manager server-side forwarding used
