Is it possible to use two dimensions together in rows without using Breakdown in Analysis Workspace?
Hi Team,
I have a question regarding Analysis Workspace – Freeform Table.
I want to understand whether it is possible to use any two dimensions together in Rows without using Breakdown.
Example:
-
First dimension in Rows: Browser Type
-
Second relevant dimension next to it: Browser
-
Metric: Visits
My expected view is something like:
Browser Type | Browser | Visits
However, when I try to add the second dimension into Rows, Workspace only shows the Replace option. I do not see any way to place the second dimension next to the first one without using Breakdown, which I do not want in this case.
What I’ve tried:
-
Adding Browser Type first in Rows
-
Then trying to add Browser as a second dimension in Rows
-
Tried different drop positions inside the table
But it doesn’t work.
My question:
-
Is it a limitation of Analysis Workspace that only one dimension is allowed in Rows without Breakdown?
-
Or is there a specific method or best practice to show two related dimensions side-by-side with a metric?
Any guidance or confirmation would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance!
