I LOVE the calculated metric builder and I've started using some of the more advanced functions to start producing some much more useful interactive Workspaces. One wall I've hit though is that if I want to create a table of top products that match metric criteria such as "show me conversion for products with more than 1000 visits" when I rank in the opposite direction all I get is 0%. While this is technically accurate it means I can't create a table of those top products I'm just ranking the most relevant ones at the top.The reason for this is the false value of the function is 0 which is still interpreted as a value and therefore displayed in the report, what I want to be able to do is set it to NULL instead so that if I sort by that metric ONLY those products are displayed and everything with no value is hidden.

Filtering is pain, especially in Analysis Workspace, where there aren't regex options.  It would be great to be able to handle filtering at the segment level.  I propose adding a new container option called 'filter' or similar.This would do exactly what it says.  Only show you data for items filtered within the segment.  Because we have so many products and product categories on our site we are reliant on combinations of segments and dimension components to get the views we need.  Having a segment that filters for you would save a lot of time and effort in building workspaces.   We try to build templated workspaces where all that needs to be replaced is the segment.  however, because we have to rely on the filter or a dimension value, we must take more steps to design the report.Michael

We use this feature very frequently in order to trouble shoot or to make authorized changes for users who don't have the time or don't have access to the EC at the time required. Median and percentile functions are available as built-in functions for calculated metrics within Adobe Analytcs, but they are Table based,From Adobe Documentation:Table Functions versus Row Functions A table function is one where the output is the same for every row of the table. A row function is one where the output is different for every row of the table. See below example of table using the this functionality with one Median and one 90th Percentile metric.The base metric that is calculated as median and 90th percentile is a Numeric metric. With Row capability for median and percentile, instead of having the median/percentile for  all line items in total it would be possible to see the median for each individual row. Ie, what was the median/percentile for Feb 4, Feb 11, Feb18.This functionality would be fantastic and help to calculate medians/percentiles directly in the Adobe interface without having to resort to large data exports and manual calculation. In mobile services contextData is passed in a Key/Value pair, it seems rather "old-school" to then require an admin user to go in and remap the key again to a different system level key.  Understandably this is done to provide cross compatibility with SC/Adobe Analytics, but by default you could have a contextData key to Friendly Name mapping for AMS and Workspace, and then optionally use props/evars for components that would need to be used in SC. If a contextData key is not mapped to a Friendly Name then it is not processed otherwise the import processing just needs to locate the contextData key rather than an additional mapping. This would remove the limits on props and evars, and lighten the implementation effort. Thanks.-Lee

It would be nice if there were configuration variables in the library, something like s.queryParamOverrides = firstName, first_name, fname, address ....s.queryParamOverrideValue = foo wherein a list of query parameters can be overwritten with the value contained in s.queryParamOverriveValue. Many of us face data protection issues and adding the option to strip or override these values would be a great help in helping/simplifying things. Cheers Kevin

As a company with a large number of users and thousands of custom segments; we are experiencing performance issues Segment Manager and connecting to Report Builder due to the large volume of segments that have to load for these applications to initiate.  Idea:Provide a column in the Segment Manager allowing us to sort our segments by date of last use.  Last use would provide the date that this segment was last utilized in the Reporting API by all analytics products (Reports & Analysis UI, Report Builder, Data Warehouse, AdHoc or the API).  With this feature, we could safely delete segments that are not actively in use regardless of when the segment was created or edited.  I have for example a segment that was in a report that was delivered via Report Builder to my inbox this morning shows a “Date Modified” in the Segment Manager of “Aug, 18 2015”. That date is accurate as in that was the last time I created or saved the segment; but in this case I would like to see "Last Use Date"

It would be incredibly helpful to add a few columns to the Request Manager display.  I would most like to see Report Suite ID or Name.  And Date Range would also be very helpful.

Hi There,Working in the travel sector we (and many of your clients) have 3 keys dates, which are:Booking Date (This is standard date in Adobe Analytics).Checkin Date (The date of the start of a Car Rental / Hotel Stay / Flight / Holiday / Cruise etc)Checkout Date(The date of the end of a Car Rental / Hotel Stay / Flight / Holiday / Cruise etc)which creates 2 key metrics for the businessLead Times (The date difference between Booking Date and Checkin Date)Duration (The date difference between Checkin and Checkout)Currently we (and all of the people in our industry) capture Checkin and Checkout using evars. We export this data into SQL and Qlik / Tableau when we want to manipulate it however this is not ideal. Whilst we can easily capture the metrics as events using our data layer it creates an issue where if a customer places 2 bookings in 1 visit or refreshes the metric does not work (both are common).If Adobe allowed an evar that used Unix time format to allow it would be a huge benef

See in the Admin Console > under Products > Permissions. How do I get a lising of the Metrics, Dimensions, etc… So what I need is a csv of the 1,400+ Metric, the 580+ Dimensions, the 50+ Report Suite Tools and the 35+ Analytics Tools.Also a short definition of each item in the Report Suite Tools and the Analytics Tools would be very useful.

When i share a workspace project with someone and select the Automatically Shared Embedded Components with Recipients option, the other user can view any Calculated Metric. However, if there is a segment nested in the shared Calculated Metric, the user is unable click to view the segment logic.

Hello All,I was hoping you could get two things on the roadmap.1.  Better documentation around your APIs (Though what you have is a great start) 2. Better responses from your APIs when the WSSE Header is wrong (which, though I'm no expert, I feel was stupid hard  "unable to validate" is not helpful).Here's some things that aren't mentioned (Keep in mind, I'm not a network/IT guy, just trying to help):1. Nonce / Digest should be ASCII format when created (not sure if this is 100% correct, but it worked for me)2. Base 64 encoded Digest and Nonce must be DEcoded before sending (this may be common knowledge for some, but wasn't listed)3. When decoding, you have to remove the leading whites pace from the values that are decoded4. The POSTMAN example is a good start, but it would be great if you could explain in more detail what is occurring at each step.5. You don't need a SHA1, you can use any hashing algorithm as long as its sent in the header6. Each parameter value of the header should b

The existing share feature for Workspace means that the recipient is forced to go through the login screen despite the fact that he/she is already logged in. This is made worse by the fact that the login is for the Analytics point solution rather than the MC. This makes the feature useless in our company. It should be an easy fix to allow logged in users to move straight to the workspace rather than log in for each shared link.

Hi,Scheduled reports from the workspace of Adobe Analytics don't have the ability to embed the report in the email body, in addition to the attachment. Can we add this functionnality. This is very practical when we need to read it on the smartphone.Best,

Issue: An analytics user needs to be an Adobe Analytics Product Admin in Adobe Admin console in order to map variables in Adobe Mobile Services. We have multiple analysts and developers who want to do the mapping but I don't want to make every an Adobe Analytics Admin giving them full range over our entire analytics platform. The permission group "Mobile App Admin" should be enough except it doesn't include being able to edit mappings. Makes no sense.What I've tested:I've concluded that even though I give someone access to every available permission in our Adobe Analytics profile, that user still cannot map eVars, Props, or events in Adobe Mobile services without being an Adobe Analytics product admin. There is a default Adobe product profile called "Mobile App Admin" which still only gives a user read only access. I need developers and analysts able to map variables that they have setup in Adobe Analytics report suites without having to give them admin access to the entire product sku

HiThe recent release has seen a change to the components in workspace.You now no longer see icons next to all dimensions, metrics and time segments (calculated metrics still have the calculator).We have some users that are colour blind, and now this makes things difficult for them, are there are dimensions and time segments with the same name (out of the box adobe ones) such as Day.People who are colour blind can now not easily see which is the dimension and which is the time segment

Currently, anyone looking to build marketing links in the Mobile Marketing Link Builder must have admin access to Mobile Services. In practice, that means that either someone on the analytics team has to build the links (which can lead to bottlenecks), or the marketers must have admin access to Mobile Services, which brings some risk as there's additional access.Can we add a level of access to build mobile marketing links without requiring Mobile Services access?

I'm new to AA, currently migrating from Webtrends.As i have stated in other idea, most features are better in AA than in Webtrends.But one thing i will  miss is a spark-line per row in the (freeform) table.This was standard in Webtrends Analytics 10, and looked like this.It represented the trend for for the time-period selected on a daily basic.It made it easy to identify a sudden shift in data for a row.In AA Workspace i would imagine it would look like this.

Adobe Analyitcs presents reports in a hierarchical list. I see the same hierarchical list in section Reports and in the View All Reports shortcut on Site Overview. Both places show only the reports in the current node of the hierarchy. Nowhere can I see the list of all reports.Please give an alphabetic list of reports. A short description with each report will be a bonus.Thank you!

I've created a time period column from the context menu for "These 6 weeks last year" - p.s. thanks for this feature! So useful.When I try to create a metric based on my selection, and ask for percent change, what I really want is for each day to be compared against each other e.g. Feb 4th 2018 vs Feb 5th 2017 (current day vs current day -364).What I actually get, are visits for Feb 4th 2018 vs the entire 6 week date range, and it breaks my workspace by forcing the date range to start at Feb 5th 2017:This create metric from selection can be a lot smarter by contextually comparing the data based on the granularity selected e.g. day vs same day last year, week vs same week last year, so on.Being able to visualise a trended year on year line like that by simply creating a percent change metric like this would be awesome.p.s. has the feature to "compare time range", which appeared under the "add time range", and automatically created a percent change column, been removed?

When we manually delete user account under "User Management" in Adobe Analytics, we have a transfer option that helps to transfer all the user's reports, schedules, dashboards etc.. to a generic user account before deleting. It would be great if the "Delete" API also has that option, because today it only deletes the account. Today I automated the process to identify the user accounts that needs to be deleted, the the actual deletion process is always manual due to this reason.

I have an abandonment fallout path I need to create where visitors start Checkout Start>go to any page(s) BUT Thank You>start Checkout Start again>then Thank You page.  The trick is that I can't just put the Checkout start twice because there needs to be at least one page in between them (rather than a reload).Rather than create a sequential segment and drop into the checkpoint, it would be great to be able to have a condition of NOT as a stand alone in addition to Eventual Path and Next Hit.  That way we could create Checkout Start>NOT-Thank You>Checkout Start>Thank YouAlso it would be great to have a Next Visit condition as well.  It would have to be available only if the Visitor option is selected.  An example would be Checkout Start>NOT-Thank You>Next Visit-Checkout Start>Thank YouIt's certainly different than the NOT condition, but would be useful for helping to understand multi-visit situations.

My idea is regarding the Marketing Channel Overview Report:There are default metrics for the conversion reports, but I can't find any option for Marketing Channels. Especially for content sites without tracked revenue it's laborious to always change the metrics and further this always needs to be explained to less experienced users. It would be great to set a company wide default for the selected metrics.  Best Regards,Sebastian
