Hi Team,   In Marketing Channels - Direct is identifies visitors that have no referring domain, which includes visitors that come to your site directly, such as from a Favorites link or by pasting a link in their browser is there is any other way or use case for direct channel? In Marketing Channels - Internal Channel visitors where their referring URL matches the Internal URL Filters setup in the Admin Console, meaning the visitor came from within the site to start their visit is there is any other way or use case for internal channel?   Regards, Mazid Khan.

Is it possible to track ALL contextData that I am setting like a wild card (i.e. s.contextData.*)? I'm having to add it to a data element which tracks all variables and adding each individual contextData to track.

Hi!I have created a scheduled report. This report is sent in pdf.The issue is that the titles of some summary numbers are squeezed whereas it looks fine in the report itself and even when I download the PDF version from the project>download PDF.The dimension tab is closed and the view density is compact in the report settings when i created the scheduled report.I can't see how I can solve this.Thanks for your help.

Hi! I work at a digital agency, and have a client who uses Saint Codes. They want us to generate them for them to help them track performance on their campaign. Does anyone have experience with these? I'm very familiar with the Google UTM codes and how they work in Google Analytics. But not familiar with Adobe Analytics enough to know how these work. Can anyone help please? Thank you!  

Hi, I’m trying to set up alerts for any pages of the site that experience a spike in traffic. I have implemented some spam filters in VRS. But I noticed that some pages are still occasionally getting spikes in traffic and I would like to be alerted when this happens so that I can check if it’s due to spam. I’m currently only able to set up alert based on the total number of visits for the entire site or painstakingly filter each page to alert when greater than N visits. The total number of visits for the entire site doesn’t work for me as the spike in a particular page will not result in a significant anomaly for the entire site traffic.  Wondering if anyone could share how you might set up alert for such scenario? TIA!

Let’s say I have a segment defined as visitors who used X feature in the app then I segment a panel using this segment, i.e. only filtering out users used X feature. Then if I do a daily breakdown on unique visitors count. Does the daily number equal to visitors used X feature on that day (segmentation happens on daily level) or visitors did anything on that day but have ever used X feature (segmentation happens on panel level)?   Similarly, if I define a segment in a metric definition and do a daily breakdown of that metric. Will the segment I defined be applied on daily level or the entire data in the panel.   Thanks

Today after making some modifications in Adobe Analytics extension, during code review one of my colleagues noticed a strange addition which I haven't done it.  Who manages the librarycode metadata and what is it for? I tried to look everywhere to try and modify it back but I was unable to find any reference to it. Any help would be appreciate it!

Hi, I'm a bit of a data sources novice and struggling a bit to understand how they work. I've set up the import (i.e. date, dimension A, dimension B, metric C and metric D, transactionID) and I can see the data has been uploaded to my set up, so I can now build a table in Workspace for the totals for any of these dimensions against the metrics. Which is great.   However, what I can't then work out is how to cross reference these with any other existing dimensions? So, for instance, say I try breaking down dimension A (a data source dimension) by Mobile Device Type (an existing dimension), it always defaults to 100% 'Other'. Similarly, with pages, browsers, etc. Does the imported data source information not get tied to the existing user information using the transaction ID as a join? Or is there something I've done wrong?   The other question I have is, in order to troubleshoot and check that the imported worked correctly, I wanted to create a simple report in workspace or war

Hi there I've created Dashboard and we are having troubles with not being able to add notes. I have checked the access rights and I cannot see any problems.   What are the other possible causes on why it is occuring? Is there any documentation I can check or troubleshooting tips?

I am using the Google Data Layer extension. Using the extension in the data layer I can (via Google DL property key) read variables from the Google dataLayer. But what if I wanted to trigger a launch rule at the custom event in the data layer? So as a Direct Call where the custom event in the google dataLayer is the Identifier

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as I'm looking into a nearly 50% drop in Ad Platform>Google ad words success events that began in June 2022. But it is specific to Google Adwords and no other platform. Any suggestions in trying to trouble shoot this drop that has historically never happened before? Anything would be greatly appreciated as I haven't been able to find any explanation thus far. Thanks.

Hello,   My team is working on discovering how we can implement Adobe Analytics into our hybrid Ionic-Angular with Capacitor application. Ionic Capacitor version 6.18.1. Angular version 13.0.4   We started to explore using the Mobile SDK (through the Experience Platform SDK) following the steps for Cordova. However, our main issue arrives when the time comes to add the initialization code (see step 2 here).    While we do have an AppDelegate.swift file for the created iOS platform, we do not have a MainApplication.java file for the Android platform. So, we cannot add the required initialization code for Android. We do, however, have a MainActivity file beneath this file structure android\app\src\main\java\io\ionic\starter\MainActivity.java.   No source code is written specifically to these platform files for this application.   Is there a way to add initialization code to the Android platform that is provided by Ionic? If not, is it better that

Hi, I have a bit of a tricky question which I find quite difficult to explain... I hope it makes sense! Essentially, what I want to do is weight dimension values according to a calculated metric, but keep it so that each dimension item is weighted by an absolute value (the column sum) rather than relative numbers. So, for instance, what I want is something like: eVar1|Metric 1|Metric 2|Weighting value = [Metric 1]/[Sum Metric 2]|Weighted Metric 2 = [Metric 2]*([Sum Metric 2] / [Sum Metric 1]) Sum|5000|20000|0.25|5000Dimension 1|3000|10000|0.25|2500Dimension 2|1500|5000|0.25|1250 Dimension 3|500|5000|0.25|1250 The problem I'm having is that the value in column D is automatically applied as a relative value (i.e. for dimension 1 it's 10000/3000) which means that [Sum Metric 2]/[Sum Metric 1] is 0.3, and therefore column D is [10000]*(0.3), i.e. 3000, thereby losing the weighting.  Is there any way that anyone knows of doing this? Hi all.  I´m trying to export an VRS to SQL through Adobe Data Feeds and I was thinking about one question. Example: - Imagine that, for any reason, we would like to exclude in our VRS all the hits for visitors without Cart Additions. - In adobe, we could create a segment for the VRS using Exclude (Cart Additions exists) at Visitor Level. More or less like this: My question is: If we include this clause in VRS, is considering the date range used inside VRS? or PRIOR to use the VRS, the visitors without Cart Additions are not included (meaning that he analyzes the data prior to use the info into Adobe Reports? Maybe from the Adobe Analytics point of view is trivial , but if we have to "Full scan" to discard in SQL the Visitors, it could be not so trivial.   Thanks in advance. Regards.  

There are a few dashboards in Workspace that I no longer need, and they are cluttering up. Is there a way to delete these dashboards? I can't see any option. Do I need additional access to do this?

I have below captured below in an eVar in a colon delimeted format. How can I show values in a row format individually?. My list eVars are all used.    

Hello everyone,   I would like to import some data to my jupyter notebook (python) using API and aanalytics2 package. In general the structure of the report that I would like to get has the structure as following: All visits Product Group 1 Week 1 Week 2 Product Group 2 Week 1 Week 2 Product Group 3 Week 1 Week 2 The problem that I have is that when I am using a debugger to get the JSON code it only includes the last product group divided into weeks.   It looks like this: Week 1 - some data Week 2 - some data Is there any way to generate a JSON that would include all of the product groups divided into different weeks?
