We track user ID when a user login website. This user id is tracked in both prop and evar and both fires in all authenticated pages (as soon as logged in). But when I use prop in creating segment in "Hit level" something like User ID doesnt exist I am seeing way more visits but if I create same hit level segment using evar I am seeing way less number.   Evar expiry set to "never"               This number is using props       This number is using evar   This is the segment

Time On Site Custom Evar Page URLs |  1.30 Minutes Page 1                                |  1.10  Minutes Page 2                                |  0.20 Minutes   Why the "Average Time On Site"

Hi, I'm looking for the definition of what Adobe considers a tablet vs. desktop or mobile phone. I know some tablets can be quite large, the size of small laptops so I want to know how those are processed into the respective items in the device type dimension. Thanks, Garrett

Dear all, my question concerns a general feature of Adobe Analytics administration. We see some anomalies in our Marketing Channel identification where the number of SEA visits identified via paid search detection rules on the report suite manager admin level increased. That led us to reviewing our paid search detection and a question arose: Does paid search detection check if any part of the query string contains a certain value or does it check whether a certain query string parameter is present? One example: We defined that if a query string contains "ecid", it's a sign for paid search. "?ecid=" is our tracking code query string. We have URLs with query strings such as these: 1) /xyz?ecid=sea_nn 2) /xyz?searchType=undecided Now we are afraid that the paid search detection does not only categorise example 1 as paid search, but also example 2 since "ecid" is part of the word undecided. Hello all,I have added one rule for commerce.purchase event to collect the purchase order data from our adobe commerce website. But in the debugger, we noticed that the event is being called multiple times that too with different/additional data, for example, both of the event calls has different value for currency - one has the default storefront currency and other one has custom data that I want to send.If anyone can guide me how to overcome this issue, that would be very helpful. Hi   Hope everyone is well. I'm analysing performance for a shop area (evar25) on my website and I want to see the following:   How visitors perform on each visit (orders etc) split by each visit How many times a visitor visits the shop in a 6 month window before they purchase Visit Number won't work as I don't want to see visits to elsewhere on the website and I don't want to see visits since the beginning of time. How do I define visit number to a set time period and only visits to an evar25 shop area?   Any advice greatly appreciated. I've tried umpteen ways of doing it and can't fathom a way with segment creation and adding containers

Hi Team,   To my knowledge previously it was possible to retrieve the token from Adobe through an API endpoint and we had automated that process, but later it was not possible to get the token through that manner and we are currently using the developer console to fetch the access token to run our packages but this is causing a lot of dependency on us. Can anybody suggest some ways to get the access token through API or any ways in which we can carry out our tasks easier.   Thanks in advance.   Regards, Anu

Hi,   I was wondering if there is an easy out of the box way to measure users that go to Page A, then Page B, then Page A again and how often/frequently they do that?   I was thinking of just doing a visit -> then segment as visit: Page A Then Page B Then Page A and getting unique users counts, but I was wondering if there is a better or deeper way to go about and understand this?   Thanks!

Hi All,   Our company has xyz.com as primary domain and meetings.xyz.com as sub-domain. Xyz.com implementation is quite old and difficult to manage if we start implementing meetings.xyz.com as well from same web property. Is it good idea to create separate property in launch for sub-domain? We would also need to do cross domain tracking in future. Will this type of implementation allow me to do cross domain tracking?   Thank you!

But I can't figure out how this can be done using Analytics & Profile extension, Any help would be greatly appriciated! Thank You!

Hello all,We have a adobe commerce website implemented with adobe experience platform connector extension and adobe launch. We are also using adobe client data layer and AEP Web SDK schema for data collection. I have created a processing rule to track the Order ID from the data layer. I have used purchaseordernumber as well instead of purchaseId but nothing is showing the proper value in the report suite. It is showing Unspecified for every order.If anyone can help me figure out what point I am missing that would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone! We set s.pageName and then duplicate this to our page name eVar using D=pageName. I've noticed on some pages, there's an s.tl() call before the s.t() call. s.tl() calls string strip the page name value, so does this mean it will also strip the value from the eVar as there will be nothing to duplicate? Hello Adobe,   I may not be looking it at right place, but when I load my page, it triggers two server calls with same information. One call appears from Rule as it shows pageview event1 but the other call has similar information except event1.  The only difference between calls are event1. The other one has started showing up from last week.Can someone tell me what could be the possible issue?     

We are looking to implement the cookie blocking tool SecurePrivacy and one of their requirements is that is should launch as the first script on the page. We are investigating if we can load the script through Launch DTM as the first script on the page out of the tool. Is there any documentations around this? Or ways to execute?   

The analytics is not firing or capturing though the launch rule is set and firing for the click action on the social share buttons.

Can you compare a new page for a brand new campaign never done before? The page brings most traffic from Online Advertising from a specific timeframe. However, this campaign was never ran before. How would you suggest to go about this? In my opinion, i would compare the visits and engagement since launch date and compare to overall with those same timeframes. While also looking at the engagement per channel. Any ideas on what would work?

Hello all,I am working on a project and am struggling to find an answer to a question asked by a coworker. Essentially they wanted to know what users did after seeing a specific thing on the site (denoted by an Evar being set). My initial thought was to use a Flow Diagram to get that information but I cannot seem to get the setup to work properly so it only looks at actions once that Evar is set the first time. Any help would be greatly appriciated!
