Hello, I would like to check with you about any performance issue in adobe analytics tracking in Android app when Tag need to trigger on previous page when visitor visit back from current page.   In adobe analytics tracking in Android app, currently we are using onCreate/onCreateView function to trackState for page tracking.   Is my understanding is correct about page tracking in onCreate/onCreateView of previous page can't trigger the tag again in Android app when visitor visit back from current page?   To trigger tag on previous page, do we need to write trackState in onResume function?   If we write trackState in onResume function, is there any impact in Android app's performance?   Any recommendation for how to implement this?   Thank you.

Starting in November we saw Adobe capture weird values in the eVar we have set up for New/Repeat visitor that uses the plug-in. Here are some examples: New'and(select*from(select+sleep(2))a/**/union/**/select+1)='"New""and(select*from(select+sleep(2))a/**/union/**/select+1)="""New'and(select'1'from/**/cast(md5(1952298297)as/**/int))>'0"New""and(select*from(select+sleep(0))a/**/union/**/select+1)="""New'and(select*from(select+sleep(0))a/**/union/**/select+1)='   The two instances in which this has happened, all values were captured on the same day, same time, same everything and are only one visit, one visitor, one everything. The only values that should show up should only be New, Repeat or Unspecified. Has anyone else come across this?

Hi guys, some years ago, we have set our marketing channel expiration to "never" instead of the 30 days inactivity default. The reasons: We focus on last-touch reportings and we would always know via which channel the customer originally came to our site. So when I understand correctly, "never" in this case means that the the visitor’s engagement period does not expire and the first-touch channel NEVER changes.    I wonder which implications this has on our understanding of the customer's interaction with our markeing channels.   Does this setting have any impact on the lookback windows of Attribution IQ? Heya guys, Loosing my marbles here, I have created a classification in report suite manager but when I go to use the classification rule builder it's not there to select in the 'Set Classification As' drop down box, thought it might be a time thing so waited an hour and still not there.  Am I doing something wrong? It's the Order Journey Page one.    

I found this week that projects created in Workspace can be accessed by all users (even if it is not shared) by using the "Get project link" or the full Adobe URL for my project. How can it be possible? How can I restrict my projects to specific users only - I thought the "Shared" option would do not job but "No". Is there a configuration somewhere I should change to avoid that situation?

My Adobe Analytics Admin recently granted me access to Annotations but when I login and right click to create relative to a visualization or free form table, it does not show up in my list.Does anyone have any idears why?  

My goal is to have clear overview of browser usage by our clients. Ideally I can view the Browser Type dimension in a table and can break down to view specific versions from the Browser dimension. And next to that show a donut graph to view the percentages of the usage. So I'm using the Browser Type dimension, but this one has a huge chunk of 'Other' browsers in our case. This chunk is mainly made up from newer browers from vendors Huawei and Xaomi. It's hard to compare these browsers with the regular Browser Types like Apple (Safari) and Google (Chrome) since I'm then comparing Browser Types with Browsers which.   Would it be possible to update Browser Type dimension to include the brands Huawei and Xiaomi?

I define a schema (XDM data), I define the fields A and B that my business needs, and I define this XDM data element under the data element in the corresponding tagWhat I expect is that when I open the page, the value of field A is reported, and then the value of B is reported after clicking a button.So I configured two rules (actions are send Event), one is the rule to open the page, and the other is the rule of the click event.In this case, when I open the page or click the button, field AB will be reported (send Event), which is not in line with my business expectations.I would like to confirm that if I want to implement my business logic, i.e. report different fields in different situations1. In the rules or where can I set which values are reported and which are not reported2. It seems I'm losing my marbles here. When I use the classification rule builder, it doesn't appear to be there for me to select in the 'Set Classification As' drop down box, even though I have created a classification in Report Suite Manager. Hello! If someone could help answer this or provide any kind of insight, that would be amazing! There are basically two parts to my question.   The first item I do not understand it what the "column total" is displaying? I thought it was showing the sum of all the items in the column, but when adding those items up the total's do not come out the same (the sum of both items within each column comes out to 12,036 visits while the first column says the total is 11,816 visits and the second table says the total is 12,002 visits. Am I misunderstanding what these mean?    The second item I cannot explain has to do with segments. In this visual you can see that I have created two segments, one to display just organic search, and the other that displays all of the other marketing channels (all other marketing channels is defined as "marketing channel exists -and- "does not equal organic search"). Hi all,    i wanted to ask what are the main differences between Data Warehouse and Reporting API in order to understand which is the best to use.  We have to export a csv file to an external data lake (they need aggregated metrics with a specified granularity).    I see less effort in implementing Data Warehouse export to an FTP location, but can it be more efficient the Reporting API? 

In Workspace I'm seeing a large amount of Unspecified as Page (dimension) specifically under these conditions-I created a freeform table with Page as the dimension and Page View and Visits as metrics. Results: Unspecified doesn't appear in the list of pages. This is the OOTB Page dimension, not a custom evar or prop.I duplicated the above table and removed Page View from metrics so now it's just Page and Visits. Results: Unspecified page has 39.6% of Visits; Unspecified is the top (has the most visits) in the chart.I created another freeform table this time with eVar1 which is page name; this is set up in Launch using a data layer and collected pretty much on every rule but in short it is the same as Page. When using eVar1 Page Name as dimension with Visits as metric, there is no Unspecified.Why is it when I use Page dimension with Visits metric results in 40% Unspecified visits?I tested our implementation via Chrome Console>Network and can see pageName having a value on every

What is the difference between custom link tracking and having events for a specific link click event? For example there is a link in page I can use custom link to track it and I can also use events from  success events. Whats the difference and when to use custom link and events?   Also this question is not restricted to only events. If you know any cheat sheet kind of things which tells when to implement evar, prop, event, custom link that would be great.

Hi everyone! As per the subject, if I remove a user via the Admin Console does it delete any of their segments, calculated metrics, or projects? I don't think it does and have tested doing so without anything being lost, but I am wondering if there are any situations where deleting a user may delete their stuff. Many thanks!

Hi,   I have created my Marketing Channel processing rules por Facebook and Google Ads, but I am not having results. Is there a documentation that helps set Marketing Channel for Mobile App? We have done the same things that we did for the configuration in our Web report suite, but it is not having the same results. Maybe there is something extra we have to do? Hello, I am not sure if someone asked this question before. Recently we have been trying to look into Marketing Channels to implement in my company. After research, we deduced that this feature is only applicable on the website, by creating our own processing rules and then seeing the values under dimension "Marketing Channel" in Workspace. However in our company we have both a website and a mobile application, and so far, our tracking plan is similar on both (with subtle differences of course). For the Marketing Channels, it is important to us to compare the traffic sources between web and app by using the same variable.  Is there a workaround available ? Can we assign the value of Marketing Channel to an eVar on the web, and then compare it to the same eVar on the app  (that is assigned directly in the code of the app by the developers) ? Currently the solution we are going with is creating our custom code in Launch to assig

When users complete test, they got to "Test Completed Page". Currently we have no event for counting, but we could create it if necessary. We are looking to capture quote values within an Insurance journey so we're going to put these values in Events (set to Currency) in s.products. We could capture these once per visit to avoid duplication but some users get multiple quotes per visit so we'd ideally like to serialise them with Quote Ref ID. However, I can't see anywhere within the documentation that says this can or can't be done.   So I guess there are 2 questions here:     1. Can you serialise currency Events?     2. If you can, when using them within s.products, do they need to be serialised within the s.products string itself or with the Event that needs to be fired at the same time?   Thanks!
