Adobe Analytics

I am trying to implement mobile sdk on android, basically following the standard steps 1. Created an empty activity in android studio with Java 2. Created mobile property in launch 3. Copied the dependencies and pasted in gradle 4. Copied and pasted the import code.    Issue i am facing is the Lifecycle, Signal and few others are showing as red when trying to import, and error says cannot resolve symbol.   

Hi everybody, I've got a doubt regarding how omniture does size the quantity of visits,  as an example in a week I've five daily visits but if I see them weekly there are only 20, not 35 as it should be ( 5x7 = 35) why does this happen?

I created a very simple HIT based segment: Site Name 3 (prop3) <> mdedge Site Name 3 (prop3) <> fmc-mdedge page starts with mdedge     When i apply this segment to workspace and pull "page" into a freeform table i get only 1 row that matches and the rest do not   This is such a simple segment that i'm not even sure where to look next. Any ideas?   Adding details: Adobe uses an ID for page name behind the scene. There used to be an occasional issue where an ID was reused. So the id would be mdedge but an old page name would show up in the report. The greater the volume in a variable, the more likely this would happen. Perhaps this is the same issue? @kainth @jennifer_dungan 

We've implemented YouTube embed video tracking, some embed videos are throwing us the following error.   Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/viewthroughconversion/something' (redirected from 'https://www.youtube.com/pagead/viewthroughconversion/something') from origin 'https://www.youtube.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.   Kindly help us to sort out this console error. For page view tag (trackState), I use page_name to capture page name and use processing rule to overwrite value of page name (Analytics default), page name(Prop2) and page name(eVars1) by page_name(context data) if page_name(context data) is set.   For event tag (trackAction), I use a.page_name to capture page name and use processing rule to overwrite value of only page name(eVars1) by a.page_name(context data) if a.page_name(context data) is set.   Why event tag is still captured as page view tag? And fall into Page dimension (Analytics default)?     Thank you

Hi I made a segment for hits with the condition: Page (non-repeating instances) exists Personnaly I thought that the repeating instances with this segment will be restricted to repeated hits (page hits) inside a visit. But I had to find out that this works on visitor level. Therefore when a user had page hit (in a visit some days ago) and then starts a new visit (today) with the same page then the page of today's visit is filtered out by my segment shown above.   Any comments about this? I am trying to decide how to handle Product Views on pages that are not the actual Product Detail page. We have many locations on the site that allow a user to "add to cart" from a page that is not a Product Detail page, however our implementation only captures the Product View from the Product Detail page. Wanted to see what others thought about firing Product View outside the normal Product Detail page.

I have embedded the Launch script on a test page and I am seeing the tag appear in Experience Platform Debugger, pointing to the correct report suite. I have also built a simple page load rule within Launch. However, I am not seeing a beacon fire (a network request) when I load the page. I created a rule in Launch to fire only in this page that PII information is getting captured by Activity Map, and I'm using s.ActivityMap.regionExclusions to exclude the div that contains the class 'billing-address-details', the link that I want to not be captured is in this class. s.ActivityMap.regionExclusions = 'billing-address-details'; This value is still captured and showed in Activity Map Link report. In debugger it shows its value. Any help to solve this would be appreciated.

Hi,   We want to dig deeper into the behaviour around app usage. One of the dimensions we want to use is return frequency to see when visitors come back to the app. The shortest value within the dimension is "less than a day". Is there any way to add more values that are shorter than a day such as within a certain number of hours or even minutes?

Is there a way to automate regression testing of Adobe Analytics events of multiple websites?, For example, if I have to test if the rating review open and submit event is firing for multiple websites. Not only if it is firing, but also if it is double firing. I have heard of Python & Selenium. But is it a good idea to use this for this kind of testing, especially when every website has a somewhat different UX? We don't have Observepoint license at the moment, but how useful can it be for this? Or is there any other option besides these? Thank you in advance.
