Adobe Analytics

We are trying to use the 'visid' field (concatenation of post_visid_high, post_visid_low) in client side for integration.The post_visid_type field's value in data feeds is 5, indicating that the visid is the 'mid', but when we check the value of mcvisid in our data feeds / the mid field in Adobe debugger, we see that the values are different from the 'visid' field.Why is that so? Do we need to apply some kind of transformation on the mcvisid for the two values to match?

How i can change page name in report. I want to change second row to only Disturbance.   Also 4th row i am not sure why its coming and how i can remove same.

Dear All, I need to know that how much time a visitor spent on the last page of his journey. Unfortunately, Adobe only measures this value for all visited pages - but not for the very last one. Example:On 18.01.2023, a known visitor has visited a page (abc.com/page1.html) and he has scrolled until the bottom of the page and last there for 30 minutes. However, this is measured as follows:   With that, we cannot see if the content was interesting for the visitor or not.  Can we integrate a rule somehow so that the time for the last visited page is measured as well?

Hey folks, very much a NOOB here, and a little lost. I have a Prop where I stick the TimeStamp converted to Universal Time code (UTC) of the hit into. So if I were to say "sort" the data set on this value, I can see the history of when all the users were doing their thing. What I am trying to do now, is set up a segment that will show me how many users have recorded data within the same 5 minute time frame. From there I just need either the Adobe Visitor ID count, or from another prop, the SessionID count. The intent is to see how many different users have data points recorded for the 5 minute increment, over the course of a day, which hopefully gets me to a week. Right now I am doing this from an exported Data Warehouse report of every hit, with its TimeStamp UTC, Session ID, and Visitor ID. I have an elaborate set of Excel Macros to sort the data by timestamp, look at the five minute increment, tag all the unique Session IDs with a "one", then do it again for the next five minut

I am afraid to loss historic data. I currently have 3 marketing channels: Paid Search, Display, Paid Social Networks (see image) with rules attached to them which I need to combine them to one new Marketing Channel called Paid Media. How will be the best way to go about it? I was thinking about renaming Paid Search to Paid Media, leaving the other two channels but changing their rules to (see image where I was thinking of updating): Set the channel’s value to “Query String Parameter = Paid Media” Any thoughts?

Hi All,   I have a website, where I am implementing the Opt-In feature using the Experience Cloud plugin via Launch configurations.   Here, when the user accepts to allow all cookies - all ECID cookies and app measurement cookies are set. Now, user changes their preference from accepting to denying All cookies. Here, the feature works fine. But, the ECID cookies(AMCV and AMCVs) and app measurement cookies (s_**) stay in the browser. If the user has already said deny, then the cookies must be deleted. Is there anything, I am missing in my understanding? Please help me here.   Thanks in advance!  

Hi,   I'm having trouble understanding inclusion and return criteria. I'm trying to look at users that purchase and then users that come back and purchase again? Would this be the right way of doing it in a cohort retention analysis in workspace? Also, if I wanted to look at strictly new purchases and then understand return purchase retention, how would I do that? Is that a new user segment with order >=1 in the inclusion criteria and then repeat user segment with orders >=1 in the return criteria?

Hi There,  i have a website that has english and Spanish pages.  So different pages on the site have different URL endings.  i would like to be able to filter a table for referring domains to be able to see the referring domains going to Enlish pages e.g., /EN, or to Spanish pages e.g., /es NOTE: Referring domain table doesnt allow "advanced filter" to include or exclude by URL so cant do this way.. Know theres somebody our there that can help - any thoughts welcome.    Thanks a mill. 

I am looking to find visits where one event fires on the Page View call and then a user clicks on a page item that then fires a second event on an Other Click server call.  There are other Other Click server calls that can fire on the page before the user click corresponding with the 2nd event, so we can't use "within hits" as a parameter.  What we would know is that another Page View event would NOT have fired, which would tell us that both events fired on the same page (assuming the user is n't navigating site on multiple tabs - not concerned w/ those edge cases.

Is there a way to know when a customer is doing something on website out of multiple tabs? How do we unify the experience/story/flow from all tabs ? for example user does the below actions in order visited tab 1  visited tab 2  visited tab 3 visited tab 1 and visited tab 3 How do I unify the analysis from all hits to make it seem like a single tab ?

Hello all,I am facing a issue regarding capturing the Orders and Units metric data properly.For some orders (not for all, some are perfectly capturing correct data), for an OrderId, Orders value is showing as 2/3 instead of 1, Units is showing as double i.e if I have ordered 2 units, its showing as 4, like that. We are using: Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK extension in tag manager Adobe Client Data Layer extension in tag manager Schema, Datastreams Magento/2.4 (Enterprise) Experience Platform Connector Magento Extension Adobe Experience Platform Debugger If anyone can help and guide me to solve this, that would be very great.Thanks in advance.

Hi Community,   We are trying to ingest pageNames to adobe analytics but in some cases instead of pageName, pageUrl is getting ingested, due to this inconsistency data is not looking correctly in adobe analytics dashboard.   Is there any configuration required at code level so that I can fix this type of issue. Hey all, so we currently have [Report Suite A] and we are creating a [Report Suite B] to feed new values (evars/props/contextdata), My issue is the following:   Step 1. User arrives at website: Report Suite A page call Step 2. User scrolls down the page and a new module on the site which reports to [Report Suite B] upon entering viewport (video/photo carousel interaction/view). It fires the s.tl call and sends it to [Report Suite B] Step 3. User then clicks on the navigation menu which is suppose to send to [Report Suite A] gets overwritten with [Report Suite B] Step 4. When the user lands on another page, [Report Suite B] is still taking precedence and overwrote Report Suite A   I've created a new tracking object to not interfere with [Report Suite A] and I clear the new tracking object for both Report Suite A and Report Suite B, but it still occurs.   Any idea why? Unfortunately we have everything in a protected lower environment so I am unable to provide any URL. &nbs

Hi all,  I created a combo graph to show by day of the week, evolution of request. The 2 lines represents the last 7 days and last 8-14 days based on rolling dates: The data source is this one: I only used the 2 last columns for the visualization. The date range are rolling dates and the question I received is : "Can we in the visualization adapt the order of the legend depending on the current day?" If I open it on a monday, the first item will be Sunday, if I open it on a Friday the first item is the Thursday.Reason of that is to have consistent graph: no having the begin of the line about current week and the end about previous week. It will give wrong impression.   I wanted to force the order the Days of the week based on a metric (that I won't show in the graph) but I don't find any specific metric that can help. Any idea or proposition with maybe another visualization?   Thanks   Robin
