Adobe Analytics

I am trying to send a workspace file to various users that do not have access to Adobe.    I am able to send a file when I select my user name from the dropdown but not when I type in my email.  Why is this not letting me send the file as an email?

I would like to send some calculated Metrics over to a different platform. The limitation is that we can send only a few fields at a time (the limitation is ~5). It would save a significant amount of time and work if we are able to send custom metrics instead of the "raw fields".   I see old posts from 2011 that say we cant. Has this been addressed?

Dear Community, I have troubles explaining our user the existence of tracking code in First Touch Channel - SEO. I understand persistence of Tracking code. I understand why there is a tracking code in Last Touch Channel - SEO. But First Touch Channel should be the first channel of the visit, so in theory SEO should be clean.   And yeah, amount of visits from SEO/FTC is significantly lower but they are still there... Our SEO in processing rules is configured to matches natural search engine detection and tracking code does not exist. Could you please help me understand it?   TomTheAnalyst

I  am trying to access the tabular view when I click the "eye" icon on my site. It does not load the same tabular view. What should I enable for this to come up? or can I access the same information in the workspace?

I'm trying to show the number of unique values/rows in a dimension. Specifically, we collect the UserID of each visitor. I want to show the number of unique UserIDs within a segment.    I tried using the Summary Number visualization, but that sums the values of the occurrences.

Background: sending more than one beacon in the same page When it comes to accurate analytics tracking, one of the most important things to guard against is that you don't track variables that shouldn't actually be tracked. This happens particularly often when multiple beacons are sent from the same web page. A simple example is what happens when you want to track a link click on a page. When the page's Pageview beacon (s.t()) is sent, you might have tracked eVar8 with the page's site section. This eVar8 remains set in the Analytics "s" object. So when you track the click on the link with a Custom Link beacon (s.tl()), that eVar8 would be tracked as well – even if that wasn't your intention. This problem manifests itself even more so if your website is a Single Page Application (SPA). In that case, your website really only has one "physical"

Hi, I am trying to look at average time on a specific page and when I do- I noticed some pages get negative values. I am thinking it is potentially because it is a visit level, but wondering if anyone has seen something similar with OOTB metrics?   Metric: Average time on Page = (total seconds spent)/(Page views-exits)) Freeform setup: Page name & Average time on page   If I change the dimension to day, the negatives go away, but they return when page name or page URL is utilized. I have also broken out by metric within (exits, page views) and am seeing exits>page views in some instances. How would this be possible?   Thanks!

Hello,   I'm trying to look at overall visits to a page compared to entries on that page. I'm noticing for a specific page that Entries > Visits, which should not be occurring as only one entry exists per visit. I'm wondering if anyone has seen something similar, and knows why this might be happening or has suggestions/ideas to resolve this.    Thank you!  

Hi All, Our mobile app developer is sending the trackAction call when clicked on the CTA button. But he is also passing the partnumbers in the context variables like this : Note: [more than one part number is being sent ]{ "soldToNumber" : "", "PartNumber" : " 123, 456, 542",etc.,}I have seen the event coming through in the reports. But when I pull the products metric which would give me the partnumbers associated to the above context data. The data is unspecified for the CTA button. How should I capture the partnumbers ? so that I don't get to see the "unspecified" values in the report when I compare it with its trackAction call. Please help.

Hi community,  We've realized we have some "interesting" hits from URLs like this one: http://azplybthnszfbjoallru/june_2-edited-event-title-2.ics. I edited the event title in URL for confidentiality reasons, but original title seems like valid. I would understand if this data would come from a link. But we found them in Page URL. Does this make any sense? How a ".ics" URL is sending data to Adobe? Why the weird URL domain?   Thank you!

Hi all,  We're exporting Adobe Data Feeds information and we would like to calculate the Entry Page Type (c2). I was assuming (maybe wrongly) that this value is calculated in Adobe, taking the first Page Type (c2) of each visit (in terms of Adobe Data Feeds, when visit_page_num =1). Analyzing the information, I realized that this is not always with this condition (sometime, entry page type is even changing in each visit) Could anybody explain me, how Entry Page Type really works and how could I export this Dimension to Adobe Data Feeds export? Hi,   I'm trying to investigate spikes in the Adobe Analytics workspace. I found a UV spike around beginning of February 2023 and I found this article on investigating spikes and drops in Adobe: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/technotes/event/spikes-drops.html?lang=en   I looked at IP Addresses in data warehouse to see if there were any bots and couldn't find anything that stood out as Bot Traffic. The tags don't appear to be duplicating either.   Any ideas or suggestions?  

I have the below product string on purchase which currently works fine. I would like to add currency events and merchandising eVars. Hi,   Am looking to get average time spent per visit for a particular sales funnel on a website (path = from product discovery to purchase page) for scenario where a purchase has been made in same session. This so as to determine the average session time for users who make a purchase in a visit.   Am also looking to get data just for users who visited the pages within the dedicated sales funnel (which has a unique dimension) and not to include visits for users who may have entered funnel, left and visited other areas of site and then came back to sales funnel and made a purchase.   I have created a segment based on visits scope using  the dimension for the dedicated channel and where booking exits but this understand this segment would include visits to other areas of site that outside of  required sales channel.   Segment Questions If I need to just get data for users that have just visited required sales channel, would I need to add a container to segme

I have a simple Report Builder query file that runs a generic Traffic Source report by week for each of the three site I report on. I'm using the most recent version of Report Builder in Excel 2013. Last week, everything ran fine. Go to refresh my queries this morning and as soon as I try to select any of the queries (or select all) in the window, the "Please Exit the Excel Cell with focus before using this feature." error message pops up repeatedly. I don't do any cell manipulation on this file to begin with (literally just open, refresh, save, exit once a week) so I'm not sure why this error is popping up.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

Counter event not showing against product finding method values. Whenever user clicks on drop down filter, click event gets triggered with custom link name "filter click" and  event named "search result filter (event100)" which is basically a counter event and evar which is enabled for product finding method which collects filter value that was clicked.  Now when I try to use search results filter against the evar which collectes filter value I dont see numbers against respective values but seen as unspecified. Whats the issue here?
