Adobe Analytics

Description  My use case:I need to segment and select values for only some of our internal marketing ID's (let's say my "wanted" list involves ID's "A", "B" and "C" and my filter is therefore: "equals any of A, B, C"). The filter however will also include ID's that are not in my wanted list (for example "D"), meaning in a built view in my workspace I will see values for A, B, C and D. Cause: This happens because in our implementation, for some cases the same hit triggers several ID's together (in business terms - we are showing several marketing objects simultaneously). For example one hit would have the ID "A" and simultaneously also "D". (I.e. a list evar then has both values)Result: This means my segment returns ID's and values for both, "A, D" and any table I build in an Analytics workspace will have the unwanted values appear as well. Alternatively phrased - a list evar can not be segmented in such a way. Note. There is a solution - I can manually filter them out, but th

Description - For enterprise companies that have thousands of users accessing Adobe Data Warehouse: There is no visibility into where users send their files from an admin perspective, without initiating a report request from Adobe. (No self-service governance)There is no way of knowing if the reports being sent are done so using secure methods. Nor is there a way of displaying SFTP options ONLY.There is no control for where files can be transferred. Why is this feature important to you - With no alert system, control, or visibility into who is sending what information and where, we leave ourselves extremely vulnerable to malicious intent or interception from external hackers. The Adobe products pride themselves in encouraging self-service models but they lack appropriate governance capabilities to ensure everyone can operate with a safety net.  How would you like the feature to work - At a minimum, we would like admins to have the ability to control what locations are ava

We had built a series of curated workspaces that gave our end users a set of carefully selected projects to be able to interrogate the data. They restricted the projects to simple sets of data making it easy for our users and also restricted them having access to the full set of dimensions which we didn't want them to have.#We did and do not want our non analyst community to be able to create their own workspaces but rather use the ones we had created for them. They were pre-built, simple to use and controlled. What you have done now is open up the full workspace to everyone. We wouldn't have dreamed of giving our non-analysts access to Ad-Hoc analysis yet we are now giving them access to create uncurated projects in the more powerful workspace with the full range of dimensions. Why have you done this???

Problem Description:Currently, Adobe After Effects does not offer a built-in feature for setting global motion blur preferences that apply to all compositions within a project. This limitation can be quite cumbersome for users working on extensive projects, as they need to individually configure motion blur settings for each composition, which can be time-consuming and prone to inconsistencies.Suggested Solution:I kindly request that Adobe consider implementing a feature that allows users to set global motion blur preferences at the project level. This feature would enable users to define motion blur settings that apply universally to all compositions within the project. Here's how it could work:In the project settings or preferences, add a "Global Motion Blur Settings" section.Within this section, users should be able to set parameters such as motion blur on/off, shutter angle, and motion blur samples. These global settings would override the composition-level settings unless a composit

Being an admin user, currently we can see list of all WS Projects whether those are shared or not shared with admin user account. From this list if admin wants to check the latest usage of those projects then only option is 'Last Open' data. But admin will be able to see this data only for those projects which are opened by his/her account and not by other users/owners. And will not be able to calculate the actual usage of all projects/dashboards.If adobe can provide 'last opened' details to Admin for all projects opened by any user then admin can contact those users and remove the unused projects/dashboards. Hope I am able to highlight my point OR please let me know If need more details/discussions from my side.

Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: We have a large enterprise user base that is ever evolving. It would be a great feature if it was possible to deploy alerts/updates to all Adobe Analytics users within the UI so that when someone logs in, they are informed of any changes/updates that the admin has shared with the user base. Adobe Analytics should take holidays into account when firing off alerts. Currently, an alert looks at activity over the recent past (30, 60, 90 days) and based on what's predicted, decides if a change in activity is an anomaly. This all makes perfect sense, except for some incredibly predictable days, like New Year's, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.  Adobe should offer a setting that takes into account national holidays. A checkbox would enable holiday logic to be put into placeThe admin would choose from a list of countries whose holidays should be taken into accountOnly traffic from those countries would be counted for these holidaysWhen reviewing traffic and determining if an anomaly has occurred, the lookback period will take into account the prior year's traffic around that holiday and see if it is within a similar trendlineIf it is, no alert will fireIf the traffic is outside the expected trendline by the chosen criteria, an alert will fireAlerts are high stress

Description 20 characters generally is no longer enough to serialize events against... System GUIDs are now generally 36 characters, but can be longer... transaction ids from Google Play Store are 24 characters (now, right now, the solution is to strip the gns or gpa designation at the beginning, and all the . and - characters which just gets us to 20; but how long will this solution last?).   20 characters may have been enough at one time, but times have changed and serialization needs to change with it.   Why is this feature important to you Being able to properly serialize against User GUIDs or full transaction ids, rather than risking those values starting with the same 20 characters and being ignored is important to anyone dealing with transactions or any sort of need to de-duplicate based on user ids (account registrations for instance)   How would you like the feature to work Serialization needs to allow more than 20 characters... while 36 would cover a lot of ne

Description - We need better and more customizable real-time reportsWhy is this feature important to you - we can monitor live traffic and results on launch daysHow would you like the feature to work - more similar to google analytics, be able to see top page views and number of unique visitors on the page at that moment in time. breakdown of orders, revenue, products sold and locations of purchases.Current Behaviour - current real time reports are limited to three variables, you can't modify the visualizations, and doesn't work for variables that have processing rules. There isn't even a share link available.

Description - Permissions for segments / calculated metrics / etc are explicitly connected to the one suite under which it is created. On the surface, this makes sense... but many companies use Virtual Suites to control access to specific sites or regional variations within their global footprint... however, unless those users are granted access to the main global suite, they cannot use/access components (even when explicitly shared to those users).   Being able to explicitly choose multiple suites on a component (particularly something based on completely "global" dimensions or metrics - like a "Referrer: Google" segment, or a PVs/Visits metric that could apply to any tagging profile) should be accessible from multiple suites.    At the very least, there should be a way to all all virtual suites created from the main to have access, even if the main suite is not part of the user's permissions.   Creating multiple copies of a segment or metric to use on ev

Description - With the feature "make date range components relative to panel calendar", if you change the panel date range to a different amount of time (ex, 7 days to 30 days), the number of days in the date ranges in your table stay the same. For example, if I set my panel to a week, and bring in "last week", it works. But if I change my panel range to 30 days, the component in the table still stays at 7 days. Having the option to adjust the amount of days based on the number of days in the panel range would be useful.   Why is this feature important to you - This is important because sometimes dashboard users want to look at different time periods, and if we want accurate YoY numbers, then we need to make multiple versions of the same panel. Having the number of days update automatically would prevent us having to make the same dashboard multiple times.  How would you like the feature to work - Have an option when creating a preset date range to enable

I know my company loves the metric gauge visualizations available in Omniture dashboards in order to understand how their website is performing relative to benchmarks. It would be great to have this visualization made available in AW, or something similar that serves the same purpose.

It would be helpful if annotations would appear if the user uses a segment or a quick segment to filter the data instead of just a dimension-level filter. I find that most in my organization filter at the panel level and not the dimension/metric level, so annotations that I have set up do not appear in those instances. They are still relevant regardless of where the filter is applied.  In my attached screenshot, you can see that if the filter is set for the country site for Japan (where this annotation applies) at the metric level, the annotation appears. If the user utilizes the quick segment for the country site Japan, there is no annotation, although it is exactly the same data. The annotation that I built really should also apply here, but support determined this is the expected behavior for this feature.

Upgrade the "Core - Enters Viewport" to match GTM behavior, precision and getting the "Click Element" variable into AA. Cf. support ticket linked attached.

Description - In Alerts, weekday filter alerts email should be sent on weekdays and weekends filter alerts email should be sent on weekends Why is this feature important to you - Monitoring the daily data on weekdays and weekends How would you like the feature to work - In weekday filter is applied in an alert, if the alert is triggered on weekend the alert email should not be sent for the weekend. Same thing for the weekends filter, if the alert triggered on the weekday then the email should not be sent for the weekday. In brief, weekday filtered alerts should be sent on weekday only and weekend filtered alerts should be sent on weekends only. Current Behaviour - for the weekday filters, if the alert is triggered on weekend, then the email is sent with the data as ZERO.

It would be nice to have the ability to download all segment definitions into csv file, just like dowloading of report suite information into csv file.  I want to be able to document them offline.

Description: As a business (finance sector) we need be able to  report on which  Alerts have fired in a set period,  so we can monitor usage and response to  the alert. Adobe support have confirmed this  feature is not availableWhy is this feature important to you – In order to meet our regulatory commitments, we have setup Alerts for a large number of high  priority  journeys customers can undertake cross our digital platforms. The alerts are used, in the main, to monitoring variation  in  journey  start  and completion  rates . Once the threshold(s) is  breached, based on  the alert  rules ,  an E-mail alert is sent.  The relevant party  should then  response to  the Alert and investigate to  issue. However we have no  reporting on  any  aspect of the alerts. This  means we cannot prove our ‘Control’  is working , effective and being responded to.How would

Description - You have all the other actions, just add Export to PDF Why is this feature important to you? - It adds more time for me to wait and actually OPEN the report so I can actually get to the menu to actually Export it as a PDF.  Why  How would you like the feature to work? - Just add this to the available line items in the "More Actions" menu, like you have here: Current Behavior - Again, currently I have to open the report, click SHARE, export file, and then select PDF.  It would just be so much easier to do the same from the screen above instead of being forced to go all the way into the report.  I can't imagine many of us would need to export it on a regular basis in CSV form, so why would you offer that as a shortcut from the "More Actions" menu?  The feature most of us would need more often is to export it a PDF.   Better yet, just change it to EXPORT FILE, and use the same dialogue you currently supply on the Share menu from the Workspace

Hi all, in our company, we have more than 2000 components, such as segments & metrics, which are used for various reports. It happens - maybe once a year - that we need to make adjustments to individual components. This will sometimes lead to problems, when the owner of such a component is not available, because if we have to make such adjustments, it usually has to be done on short notice. The issue here is, that the ownership (or editor right) for a component cannot be shared with different business users. You can share a component with other users, but those users will not have the right to edit the shared component. Yet, in our normal business setup, we have teams of multiple colleagues, who manage various sets of these components together. So it would be great for these teams, if you could share edit rights with other people, or at least assign general editor rights to a central user group. This is needed so that the colleagues can support each other, in case so

By default, all dimensions are included when using Attribution IQ in Adobe Workspace. This includes the Date dimensions. However, I would like there to be an option to disable the modelling for the Date dimensions. This is because the current behaviour when adding a Date dimension (e.g. day) to a metric with a First Touch model is that conversions are attributed to the first day within the lookback window that a touchpoint occurred. For example, if my organisation uses a first touch attribution model, and I want to show the daily trend for conversions attributed to the Organic Search channel in the past week, then I cannot do this. Instead, they are plotted in the previous 37 days (depending on when the first touch for the channel occurred. I believe a visualisation which plotted the success events on the day they occurred, whilst still using a First Touch model, would be more inutitive.

Why is this feature important to you To combine offline geo data with online website behavioure.g we could create calculated metrics such as “Visits per populus” or “Registrations per populus” for each country/region/city and view this in Adobe Analytics. How would you like the feature to work -Country, City, Region to be added to the list of dimensions supported by Adobe data sources. Current BehaviourThese dimensions are not supported by Adobe data sources NB - Using Geo Zip to populate the Zip Code dimension leads to the collection of personal data in the UK so could not be used to satisfy this use case.

Why is this feature important to you? I want to have a geo variable for UK users that can be classified and also used in data sources. This will allow us to combine our offline geographic segments with onsite behavioural data. It will also enable us to create calculated metrics such as "registration per local authority" so that we can analyse regional performance in Adobe Analytics. Using Geo Zip to populate the Zip Code dimension does satisfy these requirement except that it captures full UK postcode (e.g. HP22 5UY).  This is considered personal information because some postcodes contain only one address. We do not want to to collect and store this information as it may contravene the Data Protection Act 2018. However, if the last two characters were removed such that we only captured "4 digit" postcodes (aka Postal Sector, e.g. "HP22 5"), then these are sufficiently anonymous. How would you like the feature to work?An additional option in Report Sui

Hello friends!I submitted this post before, but it got deleted during the Experience League migration. So here it is again!Right now, there is no easy way to generate a next- or previous page report in Analysis Workspace. It is something that has been requested countless times. We can do a bit with Segments from the Flow Visualization, but that is a very involved process. But since we are able to change Metric calculations with Attribution IQ, why not do something similar with Dimensions as well? I would call this: Pathing IQ!Ideally, we would have the option to change the Pathing logic for any Dimension by clicking the little gear icon, like with metrics:Once opened, we could change the pathing logic like with Metrics. Things we could select there could be items like "Current", "Previous", or "Next". Ideally, we would also have "Entry" and "Exit" in there to clean up the Dimensions list. All would be available for Visit and Visitor levels. It could look like this:Now we could break do

Description - Today, default Component Names in Customer Journey Analytics are based on the XDM display name of the field alone. However, that leads to potentially many components having the same name (1) while coming from very different paths in the Schema (2): This makes it hard to understand which, in this example, Type a component really is. To help this, CJA admins have to chose between two bad options: Leave the XDM Schema unchanged (using descriptive display names which only describe the current node) but having to manually change the component name in every connected Data View Changing the XDM Schema display name for all fields to include more information than actually required to avoid having to change many fields in CJA To help with this issue in CJA while keeping the XDM Schema clean, I propose to make the duplicate check smarter. Today, a number is added to the name to make the name unique. Ideally, in case of a duplicate component name, the display name of the field in

I have a big site with multiple of lines of business using a single report suite. And I am very efficient in how I create our processing rules. Nevertheless, the business size translates into a lot of processing rules within which are even more processing rules. I am the only one that creates the rules and I have a good memory. Still, remembering where a given rules is, or if it even exists can be a challenge. Currently I open all the rules (67 of them) then do a Ctrl-f and do a text search for the context variable, adobe variable, or rule name. It would be useful to have a less clunky way to search the processing rule list. This could be a simple as an expand all and collapse all link. Then folks can use a Ctrl-f to find the rule of interest.I have submitted a previous idea about being able to download the rule list. If this is done, one could text search the downloaded file.Or it could be a regular text search box that returns the rule number. In this case you would need to
