Adobe Analytics

Google Analytics offers their customers this metric for free. They have a "page download time" metric that helps understand whether customers left your site because there was a long page download time. Banners, ads etc cause these delays. Even a heavy coded page. However, Omniture says we would have to pay a consultant to audit this. This is crucial measurement that should be delievered for free. Thanks

Currently the programmed behavior when switching from a ranked to trended view and back is to use the last metric that was displayed in the trended view. We have found that our users frequently get confused as they are expecting on returning to the ranked view to see all the metrics they have added in that view prior to going to a trended view. On occasions they have reported incorrect data due to an assumption that what was there when they went from ranked to trended would be there when they returned to ranked. I would like to suggest that the behavior in this case be modified so that when a user goes from ranked to trended and back to ranked that the ranked view match what was there when the user left it.

Our ranked reports are being reset to one value after trending the report and then clicking back on ranked.Click on Site Content --> PagesClick on Add Metrics.Add 2 metrics to the current view which makes the view show 3 different metrics.Click on Trended.Click on Ranked, and the 2 other metrics you chose will disappear.My previous choices should be saved and displayed when clicking on the ranked report choice.

in the site catalyst keyword report there is no way to customize (par down) your list of targeted keywords each week/month without reporting on variances of it. For example if I want to see  the report only allows me to filter on "contains" or "does not contain" not "matches". Therefore my search would either result in nothing or ,  and any other variance that contains my keyword. How am I supposed to track when keywords I am targeting pop onto the map?! 

The Compare Dates feature should be available for all reports under Site Metrics such as Unique Visitors.

Problem:Once you start administering a large number of dashboards, it becomes difficult to use the web interface as an admin tool.Say you need to select 20 dashboards and then edit the delivery schedule and change some names for distribution - there appears to be no simple way to manage this. We have scheduled reports set for each hour and we constantly have them break, receiving an email that the report contains no data. When you click the link to the report, what do you know...there is data. So, this would be the first suggestion, is there a way to improve this functionality or ensure that there is actually no data within the report, prior to sending the notificaiton. We have had issues with scheduling the hourly uploads to our FTP site for years and it would be great if we could set the report up for multiple sites at once or if there was a data feed option that would be better utilized. The scheduled report is extremely difficult to use when you have one file name for each of your report suites, but you can't tell which hour you are setting up from the report suite manager. When running a Site Section report, I'd like to be able to click on a  Site Section and go to Paths. When I run a Pages report, I can do this, but not in the Site Section report. Please add this shortcut ability in the Site Content > Site Sections report.

Often imported metrics via data sources are of a type that are not relevant for segmentation. However sitecatalysts default behaviour is to 0 value the metric when a segment is applied. A example would be in a publisher set-up where we are tracking no of content published on the site via a data source. Published Conent Import - I would like to create a calculated metric based on published content / page views. When I apply a geo segmentation to this metric published content shows as 0. I would like it to show the full value for the metric.

It would be very helpful if the Countries report had the same metrics available as Pages or Site Sections. We can pull it into an eVar, but that seems like a waste of an eVar for something that is common / standard.

Add a Dropbox (or analogue) delivery option for DataWarehouse Reports. Given the frequent difficulties with FTP, such as firewall access, cloud storage offers a great alternative for files exceeding email limits.

If you have more than one person creating segments chances are there is some duplication and/or label collisions  Either the same exact segment is labeled differently, or different segments are labeled the same.  What would be great is that when someone is trying to save a segment, and a query is performed to see if that criteria already exists to allow a user to copy their own instance of it, or use the shared one. Alternatively provide admin's the ability to find duplicates and remove them.

In version 14 and below, one could search for none and have it come out as a line item in a conversion report by searching for "none". This feature no longer works in SC 15. Please bring it back.

With so many report suites to manage, it is impossible to go in to Admin and check up on the scheduled daily page views versus actual. It would be very helpful if you could email us whenever we go over the scheduled limit for a report suite the same way we set alerts in Site Catalyst. Latency in one report suite can (and has) spill over into other report suites and then we don't know where the problem is.

I would like to suggest the ability to see a 5 line preview of the report I am building in Data Warehouse before I send the actual request so I can see if the setup selected really returned dataThanks

Deleting a user should not be possible. It can sometimes be difficult to foresee the consequences of deleting a user. Think of the many dashboards and alerts that can get lost permanently!! Instead, it should be possible to disable users. Alternately, the same approach to deleting report suites can be used, i.e., hiding suites when deleting them.

I'm working on a solution to track videos on the Roku device.  I've got an idea on how to do this, but wanted to know if anyone has done it and what they did.  Also, wanted to see if anyone from Adobe Product Management had a library for this in the works.

It would make it quicker to trend evars if we could select to trend in the calendar just like on the Visits report.

While sending a report from Sitecatalyst with 'date appended', there are blanks in the file name.(e.g.)  views-february 2012It will be great if there are no blanks.For example, the blanks can be filled with underscores. (OR)  Follow the same file naming convention as SiteCatalyst Data Warehouse.

Site Catalyst 15 shows us which segments are applied in the interface when reports run, but you can't see the definition. In order to see the definition, you need to find the segment in the list, and look up the definition. Displaying the segment definition on the top of the report will be very helpful. Especially when we use segments built by other people or when you need to verify the container (Page View, Visit, Unique Visitor) used to define the segment.
