Adobe Analytics

With Google's upcoming change to make Interaction to Next Paint (INP) the new key metric for Core Web Vitals, I have started working on optimizing my website to get the INP score to under 200ms.I have noticed that the VisitorAPI file and AppMeasurement scripts have processes that are quite long. Long is a relative term as we are discussion milliseconds, but every ms helps for this.You can see the timing in the attached image. It is 23.4ms for the scripts to run through tasks and 16.6ms is just for the getAudienceMangerBlob function. I am wondering if this function needs to run if I am not using Audience Manager and if there is a way to disable it. Any insight on this would be helpful. To note, this is from VisitorAPI v5.4 and AppMeasurement v22.4  

Hi Everyone,I have a page where the I need to get the no of logins, So, I have pagenames which I can say if pagename starts with this specific page name , ID can say it's  logged in and I have hashed unique I after login , this eVar  will reflect in all the page navigate same as it starts with.So I have made a segment but  not sure will the below segment will give me exact total logins .VISIT Container[Pagename.    Starts with.      AANDHashed Unique ID exists ] So, My report will be Day in dimension and Above segment filter by Visits in metrics . Can anyone tell me is this the right way to get the logins and will this satisfy if the single login is being persisting for 2 session?

Good afternoon everyone!  Hope this post finds you well. Was there any change made to the Adobe Analytics API? We usually get our files from the FTP server and multiple columns are suddenly coming as arrays [], even though it only has one item. For example: itemId => itemIds.Or this has nothing to do with the API and perhaps a change from our end that I'm unaware? Cheers,Tiago

Happy New Year all! I've been using the Reporting 2.0 API to power our Tableau dashboards for years. Since the Christmas break, I've noticed that all the API responses have changed and I can't find any API-specific documentation to learn more. Are more changes coming? What is the intention of the changes?  For example, when requesting visits by week by tracking code, the response used to include the following data: data: listitemId: strvalue: str Now, I see the addition of two lists:data: listitemId: stritemIds: listvalue: strvalues: list Any ideas?

Hello! I have created in Adobe Analytics a segment for URLs (I only need some to contain some specific words) and I extract my data using Report Builder. I've noticed that my counts for Page Views, Visits, Engaged Visits, Entries, Exits, Total Seconds Spent are changing for historical data (ex: may 2023). Yesterday I had a smaller count than today when I have checked again in Adobe Analytics Workspace. Same scenario last week. Counts are different than this week (for historical data, so 2022 and months before december 2023)Is there any issues with Adobe Analytics or anybody knows why the counts are changing?

event fires correctly as expected but adobe report shows "zero" for that counter event. What could be the reason?. For the past 6 months it shows zero.

hello.In the case of a return visit to a specific page rather than a return visit to the site, the segment was created as follows. However, when breaking down with Visit Number, there is a Visitor ID with Visit Number=1.This is a return visit, but I don’t know why Visit Number=1 appears.I am confused as to whether it is correct to use after sequence in the options.

We are in the process of cleaning up our Adobe Analytic users to remove individuals who are either no longer with the company or need access to Adobe Analytics. Some of these individuals have developed their own metrics,dashboards, and/or segments that have been shared with others. The plan is to move the metrics,dashboards,and/or segments to another user when they get deleted. However, before we start this we do have a couple questions:Does moving the metrics,dashboards,and/or segments to a new user profile change how it has been shared with others? i.e. does it go back to a default non-shared stateIf it does go to a non-shared state when moved to a new profile, is there a way to prevent this?We have a lot of clean up to do and a lot of shared assets, so we want to plan this out before jumping in.Thanks!

Can , Anyone tell me what are aggregate  reports? Any use case on when to use one? One more doubt , Is it okay to have a whole financial year date range in panel and in reports  add custom date range(rolling 90 days) for seperate metric?

Is the Language dimension, based of the User's browser or the website language itself such if the website has a toggle to change from spanish to english, is that what it is capturing?  

Hi!I know Time Spent per Visit is calculated as Total Seconds Spent / (Visits - Bounces). However, my understanding is that end time stamps don't fire for any exits, not just bounces.Why wouldn't the calculation be Total Seconds Spent / (Visits - Exits)?It's been super difficult to find information about time metrics, so any and all help is appreciated!
