Value of Combo Chart The combination chart is a visualization that combines the features of the bar chart and the line chart. Combo charts are valuable for:  Comparing multiple metrics with different value ranges. Illustrating the correlation between two metrics in one visualization. Checking whether one metric meets the target defined by another measure Combination charts visually highlight differences between data sets and make it easy to see one collection of information presented in relationship with other data. The combination chart displays the data using bars and lines, each representing a particular category. For instance, the bar may represent “Units,” whereas the line means “Orders.” This chart shows the correlation between units and sales volumes. Combo Chart for Two or More Metrics Drag and drop Combo Chart visualization into the Freeform table. Select a dimension— day, week, or month dimensions are a good starting point. Dynamic drop-down filters allow you to determine available values based on data within the panel’s reporting range and values in other drop-down filters. Dimension items selected in static drop-down filters affect available values in dynamic drop-down filters. In contrast, dimension items specified in dynamic drop-down filters do not affect available values in static drop-down filters. Note: Dynamic drop-down filters are unavailable for metrics, segments, or date ranges. Two Dynamic Drop-Downs to Include All Data Values For example, you can create two dynamic drop-downs using the Countries and Cities dimensions by dragging the dimension into the panel drop-zone while holding the Shift key. When you select a country from the Countries drop-down list, the Cities drop-down list dynamically adjusts only to show cities within that country, as shown below.  Using two dynamic drop-down filters will include all dimension values in the filters without making any manual additions

Unifying Insights: The Power of Metric Deduplication in Adobe Customer Journey Analytics   When leveraging Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) for analysis/reporting, it’s important to not inflate metrics that should be counting unique values.  CJA has a Metric Deduplication feature that you can use to ensure accurate representation of these metrics. This blog post will walk you through how to configure Metric Deduplication within CJA Data Views for some common use cases. Metric Deduplication: Metric Deduplication is a powerful feature that provides you with the ability to configure a specific metric in a manner that allows it to track and tally distinct values while eliminating any redundant occurrences. This functionality proves invaluable in assessing the individuality of events recorded and gaining a precise comprehension of their occurrence frequency. When applied within the context of the CJA (Customer Journey Analytics) platform, Metric Deduplication offers a range of nuan

Displaying your organization's key metrics on a map is crucial if the problem or use case you are investigating relates to location. For instance, to identify the average revenue by state, you may begin your analysis with a horizontal bar chart, as shown below: However, a list of states could be more insightful and easier to interpret. As a result, leverage the Map visualization to determine which states drive the highest and lowest revenue. Map symbols can be beneficial to identify the five top or bottom states efficiently. As shown on the map visualization below, bubble size and color represent the amount of revenue by state.  To change the shading of the bubble map to more easily identify the states with the highest and lowest revenue, click on the Gear Icon > Color Theme > Select Positive/ Negative. This option will change the color symbols, showing a darker green to denote higher revenue. One insight we may derive from this map is the difference in income between stat

Adobe Analytics Labs provides users with forecast time-series data within line visualizations. Time series forecasting analysis shows how data changes over time and can identify the direction in which the data changes. This prototype will automatically populate a line visualization and corresponding Freeform table to model the time-series data, as shown below: While the time-series analysis helps analyze data trends across a specific report suite, it provides insights for a wide range of dimension values, such as Page Name, Entry Page, Marketing Channel, and Campaign Name values. How to Build Time-Series for Page Data Set the date range to a few weeks from the current date to understand how the data will change over time. This example sets the date range for the next seven weeks.  Search for the “Page” variable on the left-hand side in the time series prototype. Select the Page you’d like to forecast.  Drag and drop the Page Name value at the top of the panel, as

Hey guys, I'm a bit lost here. I've made a classification in Report Suite Manager, however when I click on the 'Set Classification As' dropdown box to use the classification rule builder, it does not appear to be there to choose from. I thought it might be a matter of time, so I have been waiting for an hour, and nothing has come up.  Does something go wrong?   Introduction The Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) provides different services and product options for manipulating data at various stages of ingestion and processing associated with Customer Journey Analytics (CJA). Transformations can be applied at multiple points to enhance the effectiveness and interoperability of analytic datasets, which can improve the final throughput to Customer Journey Analytics. One key area for early data transformation is in the Data Prep (Mapper) stage. Here, you can create calculated and transformed fields, as well as map fields from the source data to the destination Experience Data Model (XDM). By using the Data Prep stage, you can transform data into a validated state that is more useful and relevant to business use cases and needs. Data transformations can also be applied in the post-ingestion stage using Data Distiller. This allows for the creation of new Query Service batch-processed datasets. By cleaning, shaping, and manipulating data, you

Hi, need some help with my segment building as its not showing the expected results. Please advise. I'm tried to build a segment using the following filter conditions: ================================VISITOR(HITBase Page Link  contains "domain.com/hotels/SEA/" - AND -HITBase Page Link contains "domain.com/flights" - AND -HITBase Page Link does not contain "domain.com/hotels/SEA/singapore")================================ However, when i check the data in workspace, "domain.com/hotels/SEA/singapore" still returns as one of the results in base page link. Following is my report setting:1. Base Page Link as Dimension2. Page views as metric, filter by abovementioned segment

Introduction One of the most exciting new features of Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) is the ability to create derived fields. This powerful tool allows users to manipulate and transform data from the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Connections level to CJA Data Views, providing more flexibility for comprehensive and interlinked approaches to CJA data asset outputs. By taking advantage of CJA's report-time processing, retroactive, and non-destructive capabilities, users can extract even more value from their data with derived fields. In addition to the benefits mentioned above, derived fields can help users identify patterns and trends that were previously difficult to discern. This is because the ability to manipulate and transform data in this way enables more nuanced analyses and deeper insights. Furthermore, derived fields can be used to create custom components that are tailored to specific business needs, making it easier to track progress towards goals and objectives.
