How to use the Conversational AI referrer type in workspace

Whether this the correct way to analyze AI traffic?

Yes, this is correct, but remember that this will still only record based on "referrers", but not all Conversational AI passes a referrer.

 

Like a lot of apps, the app version of these AI programs don't pass a referrer, and will be treated like Typed/Bookmarked; and Google's AI Mode is indistinguishable from Search, and will show up as Organic Search Results.

Hello, 

Yes it is, but please note that this is only available since October 15th and will not show data prior to that date. You can build your own segment using referrers/referring domains listed there though, which can go further back in time.
