Application initiated / completed metrics in Analytics

Hi,

Could someone please tell me what can I track with the application initiated / completed metrics? We have many gated assets on our site which we track with the gated download initiated / completed metrics however business partners often ask me to explain what is the difference between the download initiated and application initiated metrics? An honestly I do not know as never used them.

Hi Eszter,

These are not out-of-box metrics. These are custom event based reports that you are referring to. You would need to check with your developers to know how these are setup on your site.

You can find out which event it is by typing the names in the menu. The event number should be listed next to the event names in brackets.
