I want to be able to set a default View/Filter/Grouping from Layout Template

This will allow to better setup user interface through the Layout Template and will ensure that the users have all they need to start working right away.

Currently I'm forced to Log In As each user and set the view/filter/grouping for them which is a lot of manual work.

YES! We have specific views for certain users and/or certain projects. I would even expand on this idea to allow sys admins to set default views by the user and portfolio or program. It is quite frustrating for users when they have to keep toggling between views.

It would be so wonderful to be able to set the view or filter based on the template we are using! We have one group that only ever needs to see 1 filter in order to do our scheduling.

I'd love to be able to set the default view on the project or template level. We have one particular project type that needs a specific view on the Issues tab.

Chiming in to say that we'd also love to be able to set default filters/views at the project level. A related piece of functionality would be to restrict which filters/views are available to specific projects (or projects attached to specific groups).

Would like to see a default view for home page that is other than worklist or calendar. This isn't useful for managerial roles.

The state of Ohio would find a lot of value in this as well. Personally as a PMO manager, I use many different views while managing the portfolio. I would like to be able to set default views, filters and groups at the project level. Right now every time I open a project, it goes to my most recent view, filter and group. I spend a lot of time changing these for the different projects that we use to manage with.
