Ability to Sort Report Groupings

Can say this is possible in Reporting Canvas, so it's absolutely coming. For now, I'd recommend adding the column in the view and sort (you can hide the column if you prefer)

Hi @madalyn_destafney! On my reports with multiple groupings, I sort by alpha order in the Columns (View) section. Have you tried this?

I understand I can sort my results in the columns, but I am not able to sort the groupings themselves. See how your Team grouping is Design, then Content, Media, etc. - I want those to be alpha order. See how my business units groupings are not alpha order?

It's minor but I want it possible for other reports they are using from this report.

I am with you! Adding a column to match the grouping works but it's a pain to add an unwanted column just so you can sort by that and then have to hide it if you don't want it to be visible. I would LOVE to be able to sort the list by the grouping without having to add the column!

@madalyn_destafney - I understand better now with this screenshot. I agree that sorting should be available in groupings. If I'm lucky, I'll inherit these with the hopes that sorting will be available down the pike. 😊

I agree although I would prefer to go one step further and sort by a custom order, not just alpha ascending or desecnding.

Hi @madalyn_destafney  I am new to workfront and trying to sort the column names which I created using grouping. But I am unable to do so. Is there any way to sort these like in ascending order or ,any way we can hide the row name "No days saved"

@anubhabh , this is what my Idea here is for - the ability to sort groupings. 
You can only hide your 'no days saved' groupings by applying a filter to your report that would remove those results.
