Here are the questions and answers from the session's Q&A chat pod:

  • Can you tell more on the calendar piece, I know it was refreshed, but can we expect any new functionality there? 
    • We have updated the look and feel of the Workfront Calendar to a modern design that is consistent with other areas of Workfront. There are small functionality differences from the current Workfront Calendar including: 
      • How you add ad-hoc items to the calendar 
      • How you create and rename the calendar 
      • The calendar actions have moved to a More menu next to the calendar name 
      • A new side panel for viewing calendar information 
      • And more

  • Can we have multiple/different Brands standards to be used by the AI Reviewer? Different projects might have different brands. 
    • Yes. You can create individual brands with each having their own brand standards. 
  • It sounds like AI reviewer could be implemented earlier in the process rather than in Workfront, e.g. as part of the CC plugins 
    • I love this idea! I'll take it back to the team.  
  • How do I get the AI reviewer enabled into Workfront? Or is this only for Gen Studio and is GenStudio an extra cost? 
    • We anticipate the AI Reviewer will be made available in the second half of this year. Pricing will be provided as we get closer. We do not anticipate that you will need to purchase GenStudio Foundation to use the AI Reviewer. 
  • Planning - When I have an automation for a project to be created and it has X amount of connected fields with workflow that are present in a project's custom form that is created, can those connected fields automatically populate in the project custom form (i.e. the project custom form attached to the template selected in the automation)? 
    • Yes, you can add a Planning connection field in the template's form, and then use that template in the project automation. As a result, whenever a project is generated through the automation, the campaign will be automatically linked to the project and the campaign information will be visible in the project's form. 
  • Will Planning have its own automation tool outside of Fusion? 
    • There are some mini automations you can do directly in Planning. but you can still do more robust automations in Fusion 
  • Planning - are there plans to be able to save filters/groupings/views? Unless I'm creating them incorrectly, I have to recreate it every time I want to use it after I remove it to go back to default. 
    • It is in our roadmap yes. 
  • Will Adobe have Workfront Planning bootcamps? 
  • Is there any training out there on managing users in Adobe Console and Workfront? 
  • Will the look and feel updates affect us if we're not on the Unified Experience? 
    • Most look and feel updates will benefit all customers. AI related enhancements will require the unified experience, but the general modernization efforts will be across all experiences. 
  • Sorry where is the list of proof types now supported in the app? I'm not seeing that anywhere and was curious to see if web interactive proofs are included yet or no? 
    • This is a work in progress. At the moment application supports opening single file proofs with the following file formats. Will make sure the list is in the documentation 
    • "loas", "pls", "aifc", "m4r", "wav", "3gp", "3g2", "awb", "flac", "avi", "m2a", "aac", "mpa", "xhe", "m3u", "mov", "aiff", "ttml", "vtt", "m4v", "amr", "scc", "caf", "mp4", "scc", "m4a", "m4b", "mp1", "qta", "m1a", "mp4", "aax", "mp2", "w64", "aa", "mp3", "itt", "au", "eac3", "webvtt", "vtt", "ac3", "aivu", "sc2", "m4p", "mqv" 
  • Does Data Connect mean you can push WF data to something like PowerBI without fusion? 
    • That's correct. You can push Workfront data to your data lake without fusion and then pull it from your data lake into PowerBI or any other BI tool. 
  • Does Custom Form validation intersect with Business Rules in any way? 
    • Validation logic is on a custom form level. Business Rules on an object level. They work independently. 
  • When will new expressions be available in Planning? 
    • Not yet, but we are going to prioritize it for H2 2025. 
  • We would love to see a "cookbook" of validation rules and calculated expressions. For example, can we force a user to enter a URL? It seems easy to validate an email using the CONTAINS @ symbol. 
    • You can write any expression you want and throw your own error message. You can write a regex that describes the format that URL should have, so yes that is possible. (Great idea for a Cookbook!) 
  • Can the new validation rules reference other fields? e.g. This field is required if the selection of another field is true 
    • Yes! 
  • For custom validation logic, does it mean we can trigger queues/requests based on fields or the route rules will still be based on the queue's groups and topics? 
    • Not really. Validation rules should be used to validate values of fields based on a specific condition. No object creation is available. 
  • We are experimenting with queue assignment based on a field selection from a custom form rather than a specific sub queue topic etc...for that we are using fusion but if we could that in WF default when setting up queues would be great/...thanks! 
    • That something we are working in scope of our new request service, that will allow you to route based on how the form is filled rather than being topic specific.

I'm exploring the new features in preview and am noticing some weird changes to dashboards. Custom dashboards seem to slowly "grow and expand" when you open them, or when you open or close any groupings on the included reports. Anyone else see that? I didn't see this mentioned in look & feel changes- do we know if this is a bug or intended new experience?

Oh, that sounds like a bug to me?  Would you mind opening a ticket? I was playing around in Preview today, but I didn't click into any of my dashboards, so I didn't notice.  Thanks for posting this!

The link to the "Webinar recording" is not working for me. I tried it first from the follow-up email that was sent. No dice, so I clicked through to this Experience League Community post, and clicking the "Webinar recording" link above also gives me the same error message: 

This site can’t be reached

hello.chorus.ai’s server IP address could not be found.

 

I didn't see any similar comments here. Anyone else able to view the recorded webinar?

I was able to see the recording from this post. I wonder if there is a browser security setting that may be blocking the site from loading on your end. My last option would be to attempt on a mobile device to see if it loads.

Thank you very much! I sent this article link to my mobile phone and launched it from there, and it is playing now. Our I.T. department makes things very...... secure. Must have been related to that. I appreciate your response!
