How to Export Audience Membership Status Changes to AWS S3

Hi Adobe RTCDP Community,

I need some help figuring out how to track and export audience status changes in audience segments. I want to know when a user joins or leaves a segment and include this change in our exports to S3.

I thought I found the right instructions in a help document here, but I am unable to select 'segmentMembership' in the destination mapping settings. I've tried different ways to select it, but nothing works.

I've attached a screenshot showing the issue. Can anyone explain what might be going wrong? Any suggestions on how to fix this would be really helpful.

Thanks,

Rap

Hi @yesraptors12,

Due to a known limitation, you cannot currently use the Select field window to add segmentMembership.status to your file exports. Instead, you need to manually paste the value xdm: segmentMembership.status into the schema field, as shown in the link below.

Hi @yesraptors12,

Cloud storage destinations such as AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, and SFTP support the export of segment membership status. Paste the column segmentMembership.status in the destination mapping to get the profile status.

 The following values are available:

  • realized: The profile qualifies for the segment.
  • exited: The profile is exiting the segment as part of the current request.
