Hi,
I have an urgent request and would appreciate a quick response.
I'm trying to export a dataset from AEP to a third-party system (Azure Blob/S3/SFTP). The records in these datasets contain PII data, and I cannot select which fields to activate for the destination, as that option is not available in AEP. How can I export the datasets and all the records while skipping the activation of the PII fields?
I understand I can label the fields and create a governance policy to restrict activation, but will that restrict the activation of the entire record or just the specific field?
Thanks!

Have you tried us Access and data usage labels in a development environment and then generating an output file and seeing if the PII attributes are populating in that file?

Yeah I tried it, and the output file does contain the PII fields

Hello @trojan_horse With DULE in place for few of your attributes it wont be possible, If you Data Distiller SKU, you would create a derived dataset excluding sensitive and PII data to activate to batch based destinations.
Data Distiller entitlements: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/query/packaging#entitlements
Additional information which might help with your license entitlements of AEP and AJO: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/destinations/ui/activate/export-datas...
Let me know if you more details on this.
~Cheers,
NN.
