How do we manage opt-out using AJO (not external opt-out) when there are multiple brands ? The one-click optout or optout using landing page automatically updates the global opt-out - consents.marketing.email.val which will opts out the user from all communication(irrespective of brands). How can we override this to optout out of specific brands ?

Yes, when you use a brand subdomain for the consent, it will get recorded in the unified profile.
For example, consider a scenario where a customer interacts with multiple brands that are part of the same parent company, each operating with its own subdomain (e.g., brand1.example.com and brand2.example.com). When a message is sent to a customer through brand1.example.com, any consent provided by that customer will be specifically associated with Brand 1 within their unified profile.
Similarly, if the same customer subsequently receives a message from brand2.example.com and provides consent, this second consent will be distinctly recorded and linked to Brand 2 in their unified profile.

Thank you @SatheeskannaK for the response. I am still a bit confused. My question was regarding Unsubscription and with the dynamic subdomain/separate channel surfaces for each brand do you mean that the Unsubscribe/Opt-out will be captured separately for each brand ? I know the unsubscribe URL for each brand will be based on the respective subdomain, but could you please confirm whether the opt-out/consent data will also be captured separately in the unified profile ?

Thank you so much @SatheeskannaK ! This really helps
@SatheeskannaK One follow-up question to the same discussion. Will the consent/optout recorded distinctly when we have different brands but do not have the same parent domain? Like for example - I have two subdomains configured in my sandbox - marketing.brand1.com and another one marketing.brand2.com. These do not have the same parent domain. In this case will this consent be recorded as universal one or separate for each of these brands/subdomain?

@DN1191 Yes, it captures at the brand/subdomain level on the same profile, provided you select the correct subdomain for message delivery.
