Question regarding the Business Rules / Frequency Cap:
In my instance, Business rules are available, but I can only set duration as 'monthly' or 'weekly', and not 'daily' as in the demo? Furthermore, in my UI there is not option to create "Rule Sets", only rules?
All Permissions required are enabled.
Yes, daily cap is available upon request. Please reach out to your Adobe Account Manager and with your AJO Org ID we are able to activate the daily frequency cap feature so that it populates in the dropdown for selection.
Rule Sets is also available upon request in Beta. If interested, we'd be happy to look into activating that for you and your team.
Question regarding experiments, specifically Holdsout :
Will the profiles in holdout appear in the reporting dataset?
What are the options to edit the conditions of holdout group? Percentage, criteria etc.
When Experiements is available for Journeys, does that include Holdout?
Will the profiles in holdout appear in the reporting dataset?
Yes the profiles will appear in the reporting dataset as a holdout. Just remember since they didn't receive an email there won't be any open or clicks.
What are the options to edit the conditions of holdout group? Percentage, criteria etc.
You can edit the percentage between 1-100%. It is a straight random assignment for each experiment to maintain the integrity of the experiment.
When Experiements is available for Journeys, does that include Holdout?
It will include the holdout as well. This holdout will apply for the action node so make sure there aren't subsequent actions the require the user to have seen the previous action if you use a holdout. Journey level holdouts are on the roadmap.
Hi, we are here to answer your questions live for the next hour.
Hi @Caveman77,
Could you please share what do you mean by a login event?
This is actually a type-in event, similar to an Ask Me Anything (AMA) chat event, wherein participants can submit their questions in the comment section here, and our experts will be providing answers during this one hour.
Thanks. Here are my questions then:
Re: When will out of the box functionality be rolled out for Leads Collection forms in AJO?
This is on our roadmap for Q4!

This is currently slated for the 1st half of 2025. The teams are hard at work on it right now.
In regard to your Daily Capping question and the ability to determine what happens to any emails that are suppressed, we currently only support the ability to suppress the communication entirely- no delay option exists today within the Business Rule Frequency Capping section of the product.
One suggestion for this use case is journey orchestration conditions and wait blocks which can be helpful in scenarios where you wish to hold onto the communication and deliver at a later time rather than have the message be suppressed entirely.
In regard to your question around filtering based on campaign or journey name, today we support the ability to apply a Rule Set to communications to cap by "types" of communications (i.e. a subset of marketing communications). These Rule Sets can be applied to Campaign communications, and we're working to support it for Journey communications as well (so the rule can span across both). We are also working to support frequency capping at the Journey object level as well. We'd be happy to connect with you if interested in the workflows associated there.
So would this mean a Q1 release?
likely but there is some ambiguity in the schedule.
Are you able to share insight into of any new AJO features that will be release before the end of this year?
We have a quarterly roadmap presentation with updates for all users, but alternatively, you can reach out to your Adobe care representative for more details or to connect with a product manager for specific questions! We'd be happy to walk you through any questions you have.
Thanks @aaron4est, @KearaFausett, @jgrover1 and @SHausmann for taking the time out today and answering questions for the Journey Optimizer Community.
@Journey Optimize Community members - Feel free to ask any more questions related to the content shared in Summer Spotlight - Three must try features in Adobe Journey on this thread. I, along with other experts, will be monitoring it to answer all your future queries as well.
