Can I populate Category Affinity in a normal mbox?

Hi,We don't have Recommendations but Target Standard. I'd like to use the Category Affinity algoritme, and are sending in product category as you can see in the request example below.However, setting up an XT activity using a audience where I uses the Category Affinity doesn't put me into the activity.I'm wondering if the Category Affinity only works with a product-collector mbox or if I can use the global?Hope someone can clarify this to me /Løjmann

You can totally use it without having Recommendations. It is an out of the box feature of Target Standard. If you aren't seeing what you'd expect for "Category Affinity" targeting check out this doc on how it populates

Category Affinity

I've used it on all types of mboxes from global, regional, and raw boxes and it has worked as I've expected. The algorthm that it uses to define favorite can be confusing, so if it isn't making sense you could reach out to CC.
