at.js 2.x - Possible to be Use a "View" As Conversion Metric?

Avatar

Level 4

When using Target for reporting, one can use "Viewed a Page" for the Goal metric. However, this does not work so well in a SPA since a route/path change does not technically reload the page and thus send the page load data to Target. I know the at.js triggerView() function works fine for editing views in the VEC and that the function has an option to indicate whether or not to increment the page count. However, this does not help when attempting to "Viewed a Page" as a the Conversion Metric. Far as the conversion metric, Target is only aware of the entry Page for the SPA.

Is there anyway to use "viewed a View" or similar as the conversion metric? I assume this would be possible with custom mboxes and the "Viewed an Mbox" metric, but is there any alternative?

Thanks.
