Ability to force specific test variations

I would love to see this made possible through page parameters, a javascript bookmark, or some other front end means. This would help with the QA process once a test goes to production and with integrating Target with other third party tools like session replay, heat maps, etc.

Hi Grant

Since audiences can be very complex, or even as simple as Browser = Chrome but one may be testing on Firefox, the ability to always be able to simulate this is not possible. Like, one can do for browsers by using browser agents but others are not that straight forward. That's why QA mode has two options.

1. Default in which you are able to see the experience by chosing the experience URL from the QA Mode dialog

2. Switching on audience qualification and then simulating yourself.

Having said that, it would be great to understand one of the common audiences or use cases you feel the need and where the existing feature falls short.

We have to use the multiple audience feature to generate a "force" campaign for the experiences. Like this

I agree that Target should provide a way to preview the experience without this work-around

Siddharth.J Other A/B testing tools have the ability to preview the experience with a test link, and it usually doesn't matter how many cells or locations the test has. In Target as soon as we have a multiple mboxes in a setup we lose the ability to use out of the box QA parameters
