Upsert not working for profile data

Hello,

I attempted to utilize the upsert feature of the profile dataset, but I noticed that despite following all the steps outlined in https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/catalog/datasets/enable-upsert.html?lang=en, the profile data is still being replaced. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I have verified through the API that upsert is enabled, and I am sending the data via batch ingestion, which is a requirement for upsert functionality to work properly.

 

Did anyone else faced the same issue with upsert?

That's correct @arpan-garg upsert feature is not available to B2B Sandboxes.

Hi @arpan-garg 

 

Please confirm 3 points -->

  1. You're not into a B2B sandbox.
  2. Your ingestion method is Batch.
  3. When you retrieve dataset details from API you can see expected tags showing upsert has been enabled.

Hi @arijitg - Our client has a B2B license, but the schemas and datasets i am using are not created OOTB. Does upsert only work in AEP B2C license?

That's correct @arpan-garg upsert feature is not available to B2B Sandboxes.

Can you send the details of your dataSet which you are posting to?  Please provide the /GET results of the dataSet your posting to.

Also please provide the payload which you are posting data to the dataSet which has been marked for upSert
