DTM to Launch migration

Avatar

Hi,

I wonder how reliable is this tool https://www.searchdiscovery.com/solutions/partners/adobe/adobe-launch/dtm-launch-assessment/

to check the migration effort of DTM to Adobe Launch.

Is this a good practice to use and fix the unsupported methods in DTM based on this report?

Thank you

Hi,

Search Discovery has a great reputation and DTM/Launch chrome extension is also developed by Search Discovery. Reg your question: These tools can help us find the possible issue when you will migrate from DTM to Adobe Launch. It's on us to review each rule and conditions, data elements and test it well in Launch property before publishing it to prod, you never know what may break till you test it.

Note: Before migration, you cannot fix Adobe Launch unsupported methods in DTM, as these new Adobe Launch methods are not supported in DTM and may break your code when test in DTM.

Good Luck!

Thanks,

Asheesh
