Whenever I try to login via https://www.adobeaemcloud.com/content/login.html (in order to download CFP packages or otherwise), one of two things happens:
This happening for months for everyone that has tried this. It is incredible that such a big company cannot create a working login and that downloading a simple ZIP file is something which wastes hours of my time.

Yes i do see the same what you have mentioned
But for downloading any packages , you should connect to the cloud via your servers package share . If you go to crx/de on the top you can see a symbol like below
This will direct you to package share in the cloud
Enter the credentials here and then you will be logged in to the cloud
If you connect the package share via your server , then only you can get the packages to your server. Direct download is not possible from adobe cloud.
