Hi Team,

Could someone help me to understand, does outlook has dedicated IP whitelisted? Is it mandatory or can we proceed without whitelist it?

Thank you

Ok, then this has something to do with the whitelisting. Check with your IT support team on this.

Thanks,

Kiran Vedantam.

Hi @Nirmal_Jose

this is regarding email service. Is it compulsory to get the dedicated ip address whitelisted in order to get the configurations done?

email service:

Hi @Lakshmi9

When you are using the default smtp details, your cloud should take care of sending the email. Can you just try by sending an email?

Thanks,

Kiran Vedantam.

Hi @Kiran_Vedantam

default configurations are working on local & dev but not on stage & prod environments. As per team suggestion, was trying to do the email service configs.

After all configurations done except whitelist IP, tried the email functionality n getting the below error.

com.day.cq.mailer.MailingException: org.apache.commons.mail.EmailException: Sending the email to the following server failed : proxy.tunnel: 30002.

But able to access the username & password from cloud env variables but not the host from cloud API configs. It's always throwing the above error.
