Unable to use AEM environment indicator for AEMaaCs

I have tried keeping my OSGI cfg.json files under osgiconfig/config files for AEMenvironmentIndicator from acs commons. It is not getting configured properly, also environment specific folders kept under uiconfig/…/osgiconfig/

        - - - config.author.dev

        - - - config.author.prod 

        - - - config.author.stage 

is also not getting picked up properly. Please help
