Unable to terminate hung MCP Processes in ACS Commons

Question

MCP processes are hung and  not able to terminate it. The process is actually complete which we are able to confirm by running a query, but the status is not getting updated in this interface.

Unable to get the /var path ,since it is not even showing the reports for MCP processes in this state.

This is how it is showing and no way to get the var path as well.
Do we have a way to terminate hung MCP processes in AEM?

Hi @p_v_nair,In general MCP expose JMX api, you can got to following url:http://localhost:4502/system/console/jmx/com.adobe.acs.commons%3Atype%3DManage+Controlled+Processesand use haltActiveProcesses() to complete the process.Alternatively you can hit below endpointhttp://localhost:4502/apps/acs-commons/content/manage-controlled-processes/jcr:content.list.jsonIt provides list of all process with the details including path, like thisHaving path, you can navigate to crx and simply remove the node, it should be located in content structure under /var/acs-commons/mcp/instances
