Import page in AEM

Avatar

Hi,

I created a page using "Import Page" template in CQ5.6.1 under '/content/campaigns/geometrixx/'.

by importing a package shared in "http://docs.adobe.com/content/docs/en/aem/6-0/administer/personalization/campaigns/extending-the-des...", I am able to see the content displayed on the page. However, if I try to rename the package/modify index.html and upload the .zip I see a popup with below message

Error in importing design package.(attached pic) Please assist.

Thanks

Narendra.

Hi,

when you say "to the same location", have you unpacked the zip, edited, and then re-packed it? Some text editors automatically add .txt when you save so make sure that you have the correct suffix on your files.

One thing I have notices is that it perfectly ok to unpack the files and edit it, but if you are on a Windows based system, you need to drop the __MACOSX folder before you repack the zip and I had to touch all the files so that they get "windowsified".

What that error tells you is quite clear. The file index.html or index.htm needs to be in the root of the zip file. It can't be named anything else and it can't be in a substructure.

What does your zip look like?

Hi Ove,

thanks for your response.

1) As I was mentioning, I just renamed cheatsheet.zip(downloaded from above link) to new.zip.

or

2) If I edit the HTML and modify some content and save it again to the same location

Both the cases 1 & 2 i see the same error.

Thanks
