Hi Community,

We have a requirement where we would like to migrate all the assets present in old media server to AEM DAM

This server can only be accessed by FTP

Any OOTB utility we have in AEM or Should we first FTP all the assets to a server and then use bulk import to DAM?

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Arun

You can upload assets using FTP.Dynamic Media enables batch uploading of assets via FTP server. If you intend to upload large assets (>1 GB) or upload entire folders and subfolders, you should use FTP. You can even set up FTP upload to occur on a recurring scheduled basis. Refer https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/assets/managing/manage-assets.html?lang=en

OR

You can dump all assets either in amazon S3 or Azure blob storage(cloud) using some scripts Then use AEM Bulk Import tool to migrate all assets from s3/blob storage to AEM DAM.

Hi @user70744

If you can dump all the assets into S3 bucket you can use CTT tool to migrate the assets to AEM Pleas refer to below link
