Hi All,
I am looking for an info regarding AEM Community sites on AEM as a Cloud Service.
Does AEM as a Cloud Service support AEM Community sites ? I am not able to find anything on helpx docs. Though I can't see the communities options in AEM as a Cloud service instance. So I believe it is not supported.
It would be great if someone share the roadmap/future plan of AEM communities in AEM.

We do not support AEM communities on Cloud Service as of now.
Release Notes is what public-facing information for the roadmap is: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/release-notes/communities-release-notes...
There are no planned enhancements (roadmap) for Communities though we fully support existing customers for bug fixes and security updates.
Hi @arunpatidar ,
From a session in February, Adam Pazik (Director Cloud Managed Services) mentioned that it supports Sites, Assets and Asset Share link only at the moment. Below is the slide showing it.

As you mentioned, it will be great to see the roadmap.
Thanks @Nirmal_Jose for sharing docs. Yes there is no clear picture about aem communities site.
We want to implement something which required UGC integration. We decided to explore AEM communities site but there is no point if it gets discontinue from AEM as a Cloud Service.
@arunpatidar from everything I've heard so far, it's still absolutely the plan to provide AEM Communities support on AEM as a Cloud Service - /eventually/. Just like Forms, Screens, Commerce, InDesign Server, etc, it's got a lot of work to do in order to make it work containerized in the new infra. But it's not being discontinued.
AEM Community is not available and not supported on AEM as a Cloud Service

Contrary to my comment last May, I've got some more up-to-date info that AEM Communities has no plans for support in AEM as a Cloud Service (see: What’s the Future of AEM Communities? – OpsInventor). So, if you're looking to do communities, your only bets are to either (a) design your own bespoke solution or (b) stay on the on-premise AEM 6.5 for the time being. @arunpatidar @Nirmal_Jose
I know this is an older thread but checking in to see if there is any recommendation from Adobe on the below?
If a current customer is on AEM 6.5 and have UGC as a requirement - is there a recommended path to take like a preferable 3rd party add-on or should stick with AEM communities since it is present in AEM6.5 knowing that it is decommissioned for AEM as a Cloud service version?
If there is a 3rd party service that has been used that can also be future AEM version compatible please suggest .
