Adaptive forms

Hello,

I was just wondering why the new forms in AEM are called 'adaptive'? Is it because of their responsive design in that they will adapt the layout and look / feel based on the device used? Or is there some other functionality that explains the use of that term?

Often, prospective clients ask about this so just wanted to be sure we'd be giving them the right explanation. Thanks.

It is called Adaptive because Adaptive forms dynamically adapt to user responses by adding or removing fields or sections based on user response.
