Customer Splunk setups have HEC IP whitelisting set up; Adobe.io logs forwarding cannot be enabled currently, as no dedicated egress can be defined.
Note that the official documentation (https://developer.adobe.com/runtime/docs/guides/using/logging_monitoring/) does not give any clear indications. We know we can use log forwarding (https://github.com/adobe/aio-cli-plugin-runtime#aio-rt-namespace-log-forwarding) but with an IP whitelisting in place, the logs will never reach the target Splunk instances.
Is there a suggested approach or a product roadmap on the topic? We see this issue with multiple clients.
