Hi,

Can someone confirm for me whether the below is TTL set by edge servers for syncing with ad server?  I am reading as 14 days so would that mean that any cookie ID that is not active within that timeframe will be deleted.

Thanks

Hello  TimeIndicator

As per our doc here, audience manager deletes user data from our edge servers 14 days after last seeing a user on the Audience Manager platform. If Audience Manager records user activity in within this 14-day cycle, we will keep this data for another 14-days. If the user becomes active again after the 14-day period, there will be a delay between that first new page view and when the user becomes actionable. It takes 6-18 hours to get the full profile back out to the edge center after more than 14-days of inactivity.

When we are saying user data,we are referring to Customer Ids or CRM Ids here.

Shweta

Hi shweta_singh,

Does edge server come into play only if we are doing batch update?

Hi TimeIndicator

In case of batch data,we always consider user data present in our keystone/backend servers.

Is it safe to say that, after the 14 day retention period on EDGE servers, the inbound ID syncs will remain for 24 months, by default? Per documention here: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/audience-manager/user-guide/features/profile-merge-rules/merge-rules-start.html#settings And, does the 24 months mean that the device links created by the Profile Merge rule will remain in existence?
