Hello,

I would like to know which is the fastest way to know if a trait is working correctly. I dont like to wait two days to see if the trait have qualifications or just to check the traits expression.

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

If the trait is in a segment, The Visitor Profile viewer can be used. Rule based traits that are not part of a segment will show up in the Visitor Profile viewer fairly quickly. Please read the document below for more information. https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/aam/t_visitor_profile_viewer.html

Thanks,

Hi there,

Another way to verify is create a cookie destination just for testing purpose and then map that segment to the cookie destination. If it is a rule based trait that you are using in this segment, then it will show in the event call response or dcs api call response that the current user is qualified for so and so segment.

In same browser session, you can make a DCS call like this : https://<subdomain>.demdex.net/event?d_stuff=1&d_rtbd=json&d_cb=fltk&d_uuid=79835992446265121754261477098046281090

<subdomain> is your partner sub domain for AAM.

Thanks,

I don't see the trait that I created in the Visitor profile viewer even though I haven't used it in any segment.
