Hello,

When working with Profile Merge Rules and I select "last Authenticated" how far back does that go? Please advise. Thank you. Glenn

In my understanding this is how it works - An ID Sync is established when a user authenticates. The ID Sync is tied to demdex cookie. Therefore, as long as cookie is active Last Auth works.

Cheers!

Hello Glenn,

The 'Last Authenticated' option in Profile Merge Rules basically reads data from the authenticated profile of the user who last logged in on the device.

It also will not write new trait data to the authenticated profile if the user is anonymous. Upon authentication, new trait data gets written to the user's authenticated profile.

Tells Audience Manager to read data from the authenticated profile of the user who last logged in on the device.

So if a person last authenticated 10 years ago it will still read that? How far back does it go?
