Hi Tomo,
Did the suggestion work for you? Are you now seeing the correct numbers now?
Thanks
Nikhil
Hello,
I am surveying about decline of page view on Jan 28, 2015.
And I found that there are many reloads in case that use Mozilla Firefox ver24.
I confirmed system engineer that there is no changes in our website on that day.
Is there any release of repair version of Firefox 24.0 on that day?
Please any information or advise, thanks.
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can also go into Ad-Hoc if you have access and do a visitor profile -> technology -> browsers report, select just firefox 24.0, add 'reloads' metric to the report which you can do in ad-hoc, break down by pages and then by month, sort it on reloads so you get the pages with the most reloads and can compare directly to your page views.
I created a new calculated metric (page views/reloads) to see if there was a shift in my data over your time frame +/- one month and saw no real issue...
Hi,
How did you determine that the decline in page views was due to Mozille Firefox reloads on that day?
Thanks
Nikhil

Thanks for replying.
I segmented the datas following function.
Container: HIT
Browser equals "Mozilla Firefox 24"
Reload is greater than 2
In case with our site and with that function, the reload number increased on a day in October, and decreased Jan 28, 2015.
When I had changed Browser function, the reload report wasn't be like as Firefox Ver24.
Thanks,
Tomo

Hi Tomo,
Thanks for the detailed note. It helps understand things better. Change the container from hit to visit. This will give you a better idea of what happened during their visit.
Thanks

Hello, Nikhil
Thanks for replying.
If you had this case, what kind of metrics or report would you check?
I've already compare this report and other browser users, and I could not find the other reason.
Could you teach me what kind of datas I should to check?
Thanks,
Tomo

Hi Tomo,
As I mentioned earlier, instead of selecting the hit container select the visit container and keep the other parameters same. This will guide you better w.r.t. what you're trying to achieve.
Thanks
