I've created a funnel at the visitor level, and when I try to check the data agaisnt a freeform table using unique vistors the number doesnt match.
Are the fallout visitors not the same as the unique visitors on the table and why?

Take a look at my answer at https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-analytics-questions/difference-between-calculated-metric-visits-amp-fallout-visits/m-p/456988#M37877 , which contains instructions on how to create the segment that the Fallout visualisation uses. That will help you to get your freeform table to produce the same results.

I assume you mean the values at the steps / bottom of the funnel when you say the data doesn't match....

With funnels/fallout.. the users MUST go through each step in the order specified in the Fallout to be included... if you just use a segment for the final step in a freeform table, there is no dependency on the logical order of steps. This is generally the issue when this type of question gets raised.
