[Access Control] restrict access to data within a report suite

Hi All,

Products Used:

Adobe Analytics

DTM

Users use workspace and report suites to analyse analytics data from our web site.

Case:

Report Suite A -- Collects Data from --> Site A

Site A has many sections.

Section S1

Section S2

Section S3

All custom and standard metrics are used across various sections (S1, S2, S3) within Site A.

I would like to know in Adobe Analytics whether it is possible to restrict user access to sub sets of data (site section) within a report suite.

Example:

User A --- can access only -> data of Section S1 within Site A

User B --- can access only -> data of Section S2 within Site A

User C --- can access only -> data of Section S3 within Site A

Please share your experiences and knowledge on this.

Hello Mano,

Yes, it is possible to do in Adobe Analytics. Please go ahead and create the virtual report suite with segmentation (Segment the data with Section 1, 2 , 3). Once you have created the virtual report suite then go ahead and give them access to the same. Therefore, they can able to visible only the particular part which you like to show to them accordingly.

Note - only ADMIN can able to create and give the access to virtual report suite.
