I'd like the ability to create metrics that measure site progression. Essentially to take the results of one step of a fallout report and create a metric. That way I could easily see across multipel dimensions (browser, device domain) what percent of visits move from my cart page to step 1 of the checkout process
I have attempted this in Ad Hoc by applying a fallout segment to my numerator and a segment to represent the starting page to the denominator of a calculated metrics. That works for reports without segments but when I apply a segment to the report I start getting values over 100% (which clearly means something is wrong). According to Client Care the segments in the metrics do not fully respect the segments in the report and this is as designed.
My idea is to give us the ability to create these calculated metrics to measure progression.
