Deleting Ads

Hi Everyone,

Is it a good practice to delete the ads that are obsolete or is it better to retain them and keeping them paused?

Hi Ishitaa,

You can always go back to the paused ads and re-enable them if required. That way ads will not be building up the new quality score as they will have the saved history around them.

However, if your account has reached the ad limit advised by Google then deleting the promotional ads will help as you may need to edit the promotion/discount/price/offer as per the period which will anyways edit the quality score.
