Cookie review: what does everest_g_v2 and everest_session_v2 send to Adobe

Hi there. We are in the process of a cookie review on our website and I need to find out more about everest_g_v2 and everest_session_v2. These are being dropped by our site at the moment, and whilst we are Adobe customers (Analytics and Target) we do not and have never used Adobe Advertising Cloud.
 
My questions are:
Are these cookies used by anything else other than advertising cloud?
As a business, obviously we do not make use of them, but is anything sent to Adobe and do Adobe use this data for anything even though we don't use advertising cloud?
