Solved

Can someone verify something for me please :)In admin I have set up communication limits. 2 emails per day, 5 emails per week. When I test campaigns internally I send more than 5 emails in one day to my tester and they always receive them. Do I need to activate communication limits in every smart campaign I use to send my emails?

So I have been working on getting a few more Marketo badges.  There are a couple of badges centered around providing feedback on articles.  It appears as though they may not be working any more.  I have provided feedback on over 10 articles and none of the badges have come through.  I know it may seem silly, but I like the badges.  Has anyone else had an issue with this?

Why wont WebEx send a confirmation email when someone registers on a Marketo LP?  I understand that we should normally use a confirmation email from Marketo but I am wondering if there is a way to still have Webex send the confirmation to registrants.  It's a bit of a strange circumstance.  We would normally turn off all WebEx communications but for this specific program, executives want the emails to come from Webex instead of Marketo.  Do you know if there is a way to allow the WebEx confirmation to send even when using the Marketo API with WebEx?

Hi everyone,I would like to investigate why my email sent from Marketo was put into Spam. Does anyone know where I can find more information about what could have caused this?

I'm sending a series of 3 emails, and need to add anyone who opened at least 2 of these 3 to a SFDC campaign. I've entered the campaign flow as "opens email 1" AND "opens email 2" as the trigger, but just found out that Marketo didn't understand that I meant 1 + 2, instead of either one (only email 1 went out and I already have people on the 1+2 campaign). Can someone please help me figure out how I can set up the filters so I can only see people who opened a combination of 2 emails? Thanks!

Hi Marketo folks,I have created a program around several forms we have on our website.  I have created flow of Data Value Change for two fields (but within the same data value change flow step)1. If Lead Source Category "is empty"Attribute Lead Source Category to "website"2. If Lead Source "is empty"Attribute Lead Source to "UGC Solution Sheet"Only the initial....Lead Source Category is getting inputted.  I need both of these fields to be filled in.  I also tested this as two different Data Value flow steps and still both of them wouldn't not fill in.  How can I do this?

I was looking for an explanation of Request Campaign flow logic. Can a requested campaign act as a sub-routine that is called by a campaign, completes, and then returns to the original campaign flow? Or, once a campaign is requested, does it simply complete and not return? Any ideas you have for using Request Campaign and then returning to the original campaign flow would be much appreciated!Randy

Hi all,I've been tasked with creating a Marketo 'bible' for internal use and new staff. This is supposed to cover everything from the MS Dynamics integration to creating an email campaign, and everything inbetween. Have any of you created a similar document? Although I appreciate there are certain things specific to our business, such as the scoring model, I'd be keen to see any examples of user guides to help shape the one I'm creating. If you have anything to share please feel free to contact me on this post or ask for my email. Many thanks in advance,Jacob

Hi,I am trying to do  some overall lead counts and the totals aren't adding up.I have set up some international segmentations and the total for these is: 207687However, the International Lead Database says the count is: 226277Can anyone explain the difference?ThanksJuli

I want a fresh start on the demographic score for all my leads. Not sure the best way to do this.I was thinking I could create campaign to set all demographic scores to 0, then rerun all the scoring campaigns with new scores. I assume that'd be fine, but how would I erease only the demographic part of the lead score, and not the behavioral part?

Is there a way to filter my smart list reults to emails that were delivered AND between a certain time? I want to figure out how to see emails that were delivered betewen 3 pm - 4:15 pm, because I want to resend this campaign to recipients who may have received the email with a broken image. The error was fixed at 4:14pm, and then approved so the I'm assuming that emails that were all sent/delivered after the email was updated will show the image in the email....is this correct? Some specifics: I sent out to an audience of 60k, and the smart list results extend to a 400k because of a wait step we included in the flow step.Any suggestions on how to go about doing this and maybe how to set this up in a smart campaign? I've also noticed that when trying to export my unfiltered results of 400k, I wasn't able to. There was a limit of 20k, any way around this?Thank you in advance!

I have a previous program that I setup that worked well and instead of re-creating the wheel, I cloned it.In the Program I have the sequence of smart campaigns, delivered, opened, clicked, engaged all triggered to update the program status. The original program works perfectly, and the new cloned campaign I've setup is exactly the same.  The problem is for the smart campaign "engaged" I have "Clicks Link on Web Page" trigger with the 'link name' and 'web page' constraints.Unfortunately it won't accept the URL I entered under the 'link name' constraint.  Keeps flashing that it's invalid and won't let me activate the smart campaign.Again, it's setup exactly like a perfectly working Program.  Any ideas?

I'm hoping someone can help us.  We are trying to build an email that has fields that are located on a contract in Salesforce.  We would like to use them as a token, but have been unsuccessful with pulling them in.  Has anyone else ran into this, or found a way around that?

My team is interested in a process for escalating alerts to various levels of management based on the length of time that has transpired from non-activity on the Contact/Lead record in Salesforce.I currently have alerts set up to the specific reps for their territories for the activities we've deemed require follow-up action. What we would like is to send that alert to their manager if a specific amount of time has passed without the contact/lead having been followed up on.  And then, the alert would go to that managers manager after another length of time if the contact/lead still has not been followed up on.Does anyone have experience with this/can point me to a knowledge article on how to set this up?Thank you.

Hi Marketo CommunityUsally I can see what my leads are doing on my website under my Activity log, but suddenly nothing is showing up?Someone has the same problem or solution to it?

I just read RingLead's paper on Three Cool Things You Can Do With Marketo Webhooks, but I want to know if there are more things you could do?

is that a minimum time for "Wait" in the flow action. We experienced a webinar confirmation email being sent out without the webinar URL being populated. Any idea now to solve this- to ensure Marketo send out confirmation email after receiving the webinar URL (unique URL from gotomeeting).

I have done this a thousand times, but today, I am trying to overwrite HTML on an email, it just keeps running and running. The new HTML never engages. Please advise.

I created this flow to capture leads and sync to a SFDC campaign:However, the smart list isn't accepting the web page. This is a web page on our website with a Marketo embedded form.

We have two different gated assets on a microsite--a white paper and an on-demand webinar. The forms are set up so that if someone submits for the WP, then if they return for the webinar, it's welcoming them back with custom HTML and a download button. If they click the download button for the webinar, it takes them to the thank you page where they click again to view the webinar. I'm seeing that the thank you email and alert gets sent for the first submission, but the second "submission" isn't really a submission because it's not the form, but something in place of it to welcome them back. Is there a way that I can trigger this second action without just doing a progressive form? Can I add the form's button somehow into the HTML to simulate a form submission? (It is a different button on their second visit.) Thanks!

We have it set up so that if someone starts to reengage with sends, they’ll change from Recycled back to MQL. BUT we set it so that they need to have a score of 36 or more for this to kick in.What happened recently is someone's score has been going DOWN because of inactivity, and changed from 42 to 40. Since 40 is greater than 36, it switched them to MQL even though the change was a loss.I need to figure out how to tell the system to ignore this rule if the activity was negative. Is the screenshot of my revised Smart List correct to make this happen?

Hi All,How large is the difference between numbers of the following in the same timeframe:1) Marketo: The number of Anonymous Leads2) Google Analytics: The number of Unique VisitorsThe thing is that the gap between these is more than 10,000 ! It is so odd....My understanding is that in Marketo the number of anonymous leads includes almost all leadswhose profile has not been acquired, except the following leads:     - Leads who have not visited any webpage where munchikin is embedded for 90 days     - Leads who prevent cookies from being embeddedAny insights are welcomeThanksTad

Newbie here - forgive the basic question!I understand how to redirect someone to a landing page or URL after they click a button. I'm unsure how to make a change happen in the lead database based on the action. Here's the scenario:On my Unsubscribe page, one option is to receive fewer emails. When selected, I want to push the contact into a specific "fewer emails" stream. How do I make that happen?

We'll be holding an event with multiple shows and limited space for each show. For simplicity let's say we have 5 daily shows with 500 attendees capacity for each. We would like to leverage Marketo for registration purposes and tracking purposes, in which the user chooses what event he would like to attend, depending on availability of course. Does Marketo have an integrated solution for such activity, and if not, who is your partner for this type of activity? Preferably we would also like to send out and approval SMS with a unique code.

Hi!Is there a way to set-up Sales Insight so that I receive an email whenever anyone in SFDC earns 3 stars or 3 flames?Warm regards,Nora
