I have templates x,y,z. When ever I created a page using x or modified the page which is created by using template x  then an event should be called. When I create page using template y then no event should be call. Can any one help me how to do it ?

I tried using smart image in multi composite field. In that the images are getting persisted, the remaining fields in the multi composite fields are not getting persisted. when i edited the dialog for the first time the values are getting stored on the node. when i edit the dialog next time it is showing me empty fields for the fields other than smart image.

If we drag out of box 'form text components' in our pages and if we edit the form text component and give constraintType such as name ,email etc (the constraints provided by out of box forms) clientside validations are not getting performed in my local for my page form text fields and even for the geometrix pages where form text components are present clientside validations are not getting performed.....what could be the cause for this and how to solve this problem???

Created a custom workflow and made a custom group as approver. When workflow is appreoved/rejected, status is showing is completed but still the current workitem is exist in the notifications of approvers group. When workflow is approved by admin, notification is getting cleared.As per my understanding issue is with permissions as i am using the same model. Tried with admin and custom group as approvers seperately. Admin approver is clearing the notification statusBelow are the custom group permissions. I was looking at the article about creating nodes and it says to use the jcr api.  Looking at the Oak APi, there seems to be some nice features like NodeBuilder which can be access through a NodeStore, but I cannot figure out how to get the NodeStore to be able to get the root NodeBuilder.

We are working with groups/users setup in AEM 6.0 with SP1 and cq-6.0.0-hotfix-5354-1.0.0.zip installed.We created permissions manually in _rep_policy.xml files, built package and installed it via maven-vault-plugin.In the root level _rep_policy.xml we have custom group which is granted read permissions on the root path. But after package installation this groups does not have any permissions for root node. Appropriate node in useradmin is shown as noneffective.[img]Screenshot_5.png[/img][img]Screenshot_1.png[/img]We are not able to set any permissions via useradmin as well (there are no errors in logs, appropriate response has 200 Status with message "Updated permissions" but any permissions are shown in useradmin).In crxde appropriate "allow" nodes under /rep:policy are created correctly.[img]Screenshot_2.png[/img]Can you suggest a decision?

We've implemented private messaging - the workflow launcher on author is configured to "activate content" for resource type social/messaging/message on node creation - run mode is set to author&publishOn publish, when we create a message, it does get replicated back (by default?) to author. But after some time, it just vanishes.The same workflow launcher is configured on publish as well (run mode: author& publish) The messages do exist on author but keep gettting removed from publish instance. Any wrong mode settings we have?

Hi ,I am using the saml authentication handler to integrated with IDP(Identity Directory Provider) in AEM configuration console. When do the sync up with IDP, is the GroupMembership is required from IDP saml attribute? As I am considering this is may related to the user permissions after user authenticated by IDP successfully. if IDP doesn't provide the group attribute information, may I just use default group settings in AEM to make sure the user will be added to CRX group (contributor) and grant the necessary the permission to view the AEM resources? Because for now I am getting a HTTP 403 Error of AEM page after IDP authenticated, I think that would be AEM permission problem for this new sync user from IDP.[img]AEMConsole.jpg[/img]

Hi All,One of our workflows consist of many steps and authors have to go to Inbox and click on continue button to progress workflow. There is a particular step in this workflow after progressing from this step i.e. when user selects continue, i want to display a prompt or an alert message. How can i achieve this?

Hey - i've noticed when using Blueprints in AEM6 that if i add a new page to the Blueprint i do NOT have the option to roll the page out.  If i instead create a new "Live Copy" instead of a new "Site", i can roll the page out using the control center to all websites.  The only difference i have noticed is that the "cq:isDeep" property on the Blueprint is set to false but on the live copy is set to true.  If i change the cq:isDeep property to true (which is the default value according to documentation) it works as i would expected.Which is the correct expected behavior?
